  1. '05 is the only year you can get a 5mt LGT wagon.
  2. I like neutral so that is how I set car. That's what's good about about adjustable suspenion. If you want to keep ride height you can always get the MR outback coil overs and you ccan set your own height.
  3. Why no coil overs and sways? The problem most people have is going too big and hard and wondering why their cars handle like crap. KW handle great and have a good ride. I have mine set at 12 from hard in the front and 14 in the rear.(they are 18 way adjustable). So not skidish and unpredictable. That's why I also got adj. F&R sways and have them both set on soft. They makes my car very neutral and flat.
  4. I didn't read all the pages but, why aren't you using the 6sp spec B tranny?
  5. I have a '05 lgt 5mt wagon also but, for me the suspension left alot to be desire. I'll list what I did and what if, any improvment I felt. 1. added 19x7.5 w/ 225/35/19. They were a big improvement in grip. To me the stock tires never felt right. In turns they would seem to want to break loose. 2. Whiteline F&R adj. sways bars. They really got the body roll under control and didn't hurt the ride. I could take curves much fast. 3. H-tech springs. near stock ride not too low and fixed the squat and dive problems of the car. Before the spring I thought the brakes on the LGt awful and was going to upgrade. But I found that with body now under control the brake feel much better and I didn't need to upgrade. After about maybe 8 months my struts started to go bad and the rear started to sag. So I got KW v.2 coil-overs and they have been great. Most people say it feels like "BMW" firm. Race comp has their verion of the KW for about $400 cheaper and they claim better valving. 4.F&R upper strut brace. Useless. Only reason I still have the front on is I didn't feel like taking it off and I have the tube from my boost gauge connected to it. 5. Cusco F&R lower control arm braces. They really firmed up the car and made it feel stiffer on big bumps and the road. It also got rid of some squechs in my wagon. 6 Superpro poly LCA bushing. It firmed up the wheel and took out all of the wandering on the highway and in turn. Alot less correcting of the wheel. 7.AVO RSB brace. Just as a in case. After I got my suspension together I went for more power. 8. I got a K&N typhoon intake. It added abit of power and I like the sound. 9.AP v.1 TDC stage 1. A nice boost in power made the power smoother and I gained about 1-2 mpg. 10. TDC stage 2 e-tune. PDE up, crucail shorty DP, and custom TBE 3" exhaust. They car is really great now. Pulls strong and got me about another 2mpg. It pulls stronger off boost and in stop and go LA traffic I get from 21- 24 mpg. It's a win, win:lol:. Alot of people talk about the stock IC tanks coming apart so I satat to build a FMIC to sovle this problem. I may also get a gt 30 turbo but, I know this may sound weird. I don't know if I need that much power and where am I going to use it? I hope I added some helpful info after all the stuff before. If you want me to post pictures of any of this stuff or got any questions let me know.
  6. I'm sorry. I just want to clear things up. Any other questions follow the earlier link. Again sorry.
  7. Let's recap. At first you said the kit was crap because the extra fabbing. Fact is you don't know. Can you please tell the truth you don't know. Now for the core. I really don't know how much better one is then the other. But all the stuff you complain about fabbing. YOU DON'T KNOW WHAT YOU ARE TALKING ABOUT!!. Come on say it. "I DON'T KNOW WHAT I'M TALKING ABOUT!!!!!" Finally, I only used the "S" word to copy you. I love you too. sweetheart
  8. Are you high???? What do you mean by "ghetto mod"? The flange in the picture is the "prototype". That means it not the production piece. Just a mock up. You have no ideal what you are talking about. Two small piece were added to a WRX kit that has been out for a while. So where did you get all your info from? IF you are going to say something. Please back it up.
  9. Wow! Will you please admit you don't know what your are talking about. I have no ideal where you are getting your info from? You said your info is from what you read? Did you read this thread? Here I will give you the link . http://legacygt.com/forums/showthread.php?t=43950&highlight=diy+fmic I am the person that made the prototype for XO Racing. They saw my work on that thread and wanted to buy my setup. I found that the stock XO racing WRX/STi kit FMIC and tubing would fit our cars for the most part. I used their kit because the hot and cold sides don't cross. The turn that you see off the turbo is how the WRX kit is made. http://i167.photobucket.com/albums/u156/itsmebryan/152535.jpghttp://i167.photobucket.com/albums/u156/itsmebryan/154207.jpg All I added was this flange. http://i167.photobucket.com/albums/u156/itsmebryan/141340.jpg This is before I trimmed it. The only Problems was the turbo outlet and the location of the Throttle Body. As you read in the thread I was trying to make the simplest fix (Not Ghetto or shabby) for the problems, that everyone could copy. I had a flange made so our turbo would meet up with the WRX kit. I had to cut the TB side and add a new 90 deg. bend. I fab the whole thing so you would be able to easily put the car back to stock. You do not cut anything except trim the bumper beam. With this kit the only "fabbing" you have to do is add a BOV/BPV flange. You "may" have to make brackets for the IC. I say may because I have not yet got to test fit the production version and don't know what included in the kit. So what do you mean by "With all that fab work that is needed......Shhhhhit!!!" How much fabbing would make the Perrin FMIC shhhhit? Didn't you have the Perrin FMIC on your car? It probably cost over $1200 and fit "perfect". We All know how well Perrin stuff "fits". "No adjustments" I can see if you want to talk about the core. I have not found any info that XO racing IC cores are bad. They have been using the same core on WRX and STi for awhile. Please, the forums are here to help people and spread info on others experience and knowlege. Not to comment on something you know nothing about and be very hostile and use vulgar language. Just wait till it comes out and see what the people have to say that bought it. If you read the link I added I'm not getting payed for each kit that is sold. I just don't like people posting untruths and try to defame the work that I have done. When you have NO WAY of knowing what you said is true. Do you? RIF(Reading Is Fundamental) So read the link and if you have any question then I will answer them. Until then stop spreading info that you don't even know or have no way of knowing is true. Do you?????????
  10. They e-mailed me back and said the I can have the flywheel for 15% off and if I get the clutch and flywheel for 18% off with their introdution price. I may just have to order and put it to the side till I need it.
  11. Same here. I e-mailed them for more info. They don't tell you the torque ratings. Plus when you try to contact on the site they have fields that are white on yellow and is very hard to read.
  12. Is that just for the clutch? How much for the whole setup?
  13. My H-tech sag. But I think it was because I have a wagon. They were good for about 7 months then the rear started dropping to the fender covering the tire by a 1/2" empty. I went stage 2 and it got worst. In 1st and 2nd if I got on it the rear would bottom out if I hit a bump. I put KW's on mine yesterday. I brought the rear up about a 1 1/2" to a one finger space between the fender.
  14. I just want to hear why less backpressure would lose power? That's the whole reason for CBE. They don't add bacepressure.(except maybe SPT CBE )
  15. It took me about 2hrs to do the front and rear. I found air tools or a good breaker bar helps alot.
  16. I tried the stg 1 mod. It sounds great . Just enough sound, no droning , and it seem to make K & N typhoon sound louder. My K & N is louder then my exhaust. I wounder if there any power gains. If you think about all the cat back setups reduce back pressure. This mod does reduce back pressure. Has anyone dyno this mod?
  17. Open!, Open! open! What up? Stop tickling our A$$s with a feather and gave us the info:icon_tong
  18. I know why it's so cheap! I bet it's made out of PVC:icon_lol: . Just playing. Man I need more info, pix and prices. Some where in the world it's already Friday:) p.s will it fit wagons?
