  1. Negative side is they can screw something up, seems to always happen. Since there really is only two steps in the process, I hope I am lucky. Damn straight I'll be out in the parking lot checking the fuses and making sure the cover is secured, hehe. -B PS Getting all three wipers replaced to boot. Nice that it isn't considered a wear item. Surprised actually.
  2. Going up tomorrow, parts are in at the local dealer. Gonna get some wipers out of them to boot. As far as doing it myself, it is damn easy. But I am uneasy about replacing a relay that when bad can fry a ECM circuit controlling it. Don't wanna have to fight with a dealer down the road if for some reason the new one fries it as well, hehe.
  3. Oh man check the VIN when I get home. Just my luck the relay will go and fry the circuit in the ECU tomorrow, hehe. Unmarry AP FTL!

  5. 10/20/2006. I did a double-take on the bus when I saw "my" car parked on Center Street. GRP GT wagon.
  6. Enough with the NESIC Boston post-work drinking... Time for a LGT post-work elbow bending event?
  7. Saw the darker of the two blue LGT wagon on 95 north Thursday morning. Anybody? Saw the driver and we nodded. Then I passed you with a canoe on the roof, hehe.
  8. Err, my bro works for BS, haha, in Natick. Borrowed my car for a week over the winter while his car was in the shop.
  9. Anything west of 95/128 is Western MA.
  10. GRP sedan on VFW Parkway near West Roxbury Home Depot on Saturday afternoon.
  11. I'm also betting Cobb is putting a lot of time into creating maps for the slightly different 2006 WRX. They already have VF39 maps for them for example. -B
  12. red LGT sedan 2/24, Friday evening on Centre St. in Jamaica Plain near Forest Hills
  13. I saw an exact copy of my car south of town last night. In bro's car though.
  14. Atlantic Blue sedan heading towards the J-Way fromCenter Street/JP center. Around 9:05AM. The driver looked with envy at my wagon! Anybody here? -B
  15. Wonder if we could add in links to threads about the mods in each of the modification areas? I know there has been a fair number of threads on coilovers for example... Might be a nice way to help folks coming in asking questions about a particular product to get to the in-depth opinions from folks linked all from one spot. And by choosing what threads are linked, it will improve what people find over just doing a search and maybe pulling a post here or a post there. -B
  16. Around 12:30 on the Jamaica Way heading away from the city. Blue LGT wagon with aftermarket wheels (black/gunmetal) with roofracks. About 12:40, red Outback XT wagon headed onto Storrow Drive then 93 North. Two turbo wagons in ten minutes... OMGOMG!
  17. Mmm, Rota G-Forces are catching my eye. Wonder what they weigh in 17" form... -B
  18. Drove all the way to Freeport, ME (with a stop at the dyno in Portland) from Boston and back, and the only one LGT (at the shop). Booo! -B
  19. I'm gonna go drive around Waltham and confuse everybody.
  20. Scooterman, the 2.5L turbo in the LGT also has the same internals as the STi in the US market. Not only do you have the overbuild factor fom the factory, you also have a engine with exactly the same internal specs coming off the factory floor with 50 more HP and 50 more lbs-ft of torque. Defintely a good sign for longevity and/or those wanting more power. Couple of phsyical differences between the 2.5L turbo and 2.0L turbo in the US. semi-closed deck, sodium-filled exhaust valves, forged rods, and Active Valve Control System are some of the differences between the two, all in favor of the 2.5L -B
  21. Err, 5HP does not make up for the 20% difference in displacement from the I perspective. -B
