Very Nice I thought about about getting one. I know it connects ti the throttle connector, but does it also connect to the OBD port? Only reason I ask is because I have my Damd Performance Wheel plugged into my OBD Port.. Thanks

Btw if your concerned about your obd port, you can get the obd port splitter.

Well Pats4Life u convinced me to get the pedal commander installed today. I find it easy to have my phone in the cup holder with screen on in app to make changes on the go. First reaction city and sport seem good to me. Sport+ is just a blast of fun bit sucks if you are trying to get to the highway in slow traffic it has the most touchy peddle ever this way it is actually tiring using it with the lightest touch. Now the issue..... I’m in the highway using sport get off the highway to another on ramp lay off the gas hit sport+ wait till phone says it’s good and take the on ramp like a bat outa hell so much pickup feels real nice. Get up to stop and go traffic lay off gas go to city mode boom cars in Limp mode can barely accelerate get to a lot take my scanner out clear code and I’m off again in city mode. Now even though I cleared this code my new scanner still shows it as a permanent code P2122. Car doesn’t show it and drives fine but the scanner shows it. I’ll test this thing out more tomorrow on the way to work but if anyone goes to use this thing you best have a scanner with you at all times in case Limp happens to you too. I’m not giving up on this thing yet sport+ was just too much fun to walk away now. I think you might have to go between modes slowly instead of city to sport+ which prob was to big of a change to trigger it.
Ya it will trigger limp mode if you switch mode on the go,I only switch mode when my foot is off the gas pedal completely.have you tried to disconnect battery to see if it’ll get rid of the code completely?so far for me no codes,I’ve tried sport + level 4 few times already and scares me at times on take off.

I’ve wanted one as well read a review of a different car that accelerated on its own with it which made me nervous. Can you set it for normal if someone else drives my car? Do you notice In general quicker acceleration when doing high way on ramp accelerations? Is it any better then when we just ramp up the acceleration with our foot? Where did you mount the controller? Can you change the settings while driving? Like when u get to stop and go traffic on the highway I would assume the touchy peddle would be annoying. Last question got a link from where u purchased it from?
Yes all you need to do is turn off and it’s back to stock,as for switching mode you change it when at a stop, you definitely will feel the difference in acceleration even in the city mode level 1.the pedal gets touchy when you are on sport or sport + mode, and yes much different than just ramping up with our foot, definitely will feel it. I ordered mine at their website they r running $50 off right now.
If I’m not mistaken you change mode/setting level as long as your foot is not on the gas pedal completely.

No it does not plug to the OBD port, only on the gas pedal plug,if you decide to get one make sure your key fob is away from your car,or disconnect - battery wire.

Just finished installing Pedal Commander and tested it for a while, man I gotta say I’m impress on the throttle response, even on city mode +1 level definitely feel the difference
And tried the sports + mode level 4,OMG tires peels off on take off,I gotta say it made driving the car much much more fun to drive!!!

I definitely agree,I had 2020 legacy loaner for a day and I also hated the stop/start feature it’s so annoying same goes for the lane departure feature as you said very intrusive.

Just installed optima red top battery D34/78 with both top and side post mount,
Any one using aftermarket battery tie down? The stock tie down is covering the + on the side, I would like to be able to use it,thanks

@PATS4LIFE Yeah! That's exactly what I'm looking for. No indication that particular one is compatible with a 2018, though :/
Try and contact the guy he usually answer pretty quick.

I love my maxima. I got in for $4k nearly 10 years ago. It's always been easy to work on because I just threw an after market head unit in it. Currently 4 amped 6" speakers and 2 12" w a 500watt rms amp. I'm planning on keeping the sub amp and getting a single 500 watt sub (I figure if I'm getting a grown up car, I might as well see what having a trunk is like for a change
I might hold on to the 4ch amp and think about swapping the speakers out later but for now my goal is adding a sub with all stock everything.
I've come to terms with the fact that I'll probably just be tapping the rear speakers to run to that AudioControl LC2i. I really wish I could find an adapter that sits between the harness and the head unit to do it but if I have to physically tap them, I guess it is what it is.
I wish there was some sort of crash course on OEM head units. Like - are they the same across all models in the same generation? Or are the empreza head units wired completely different from the Legacy. I'm not having much luck finding diagrams or anything :/
I guess all I need to know are the rear LR speaker colors on the harness so I can tap them.
Here you go if you don’t wanna cut factory wires

No way my last car was a 02 maxima did a lot to that car too loved it and if I didn’t ruin a piston I’d still be driving it.

You still having noise issue with your audio?
So far mine have been noise free,I might switch from 2-10”s to either 2-12”s or 1-15” sub.

Wife just told me we got a letter from Subaru as well. Something about exhaust she said.
First question, do I have to take it in. My response, do you know what an exhaust leak can do?
Going in next week.
Yes take it in,while it is covered, having leak will affect mpg, performance, and you wanna be smelling that fumes,etc..

Hi all,
I am just a beginner with the car mechanism.
I own a Legacy 2016, 2.5l. Image enclosed, It’s a valve related to evap emission. I would like to know where it is located in Legacy 2016, 2.5L. Also please help me with the actual name of this valve.
Thanks all,
Cancer Man:)
If I’m not mistaken it’s called it’s either purge or check valve,it should right next to your Evap canister close to your fuel tank.

Not sure about 5th gens but our 6thgens legacy have electric power steering,so no pump or leaking fluid.
The issue I had with my My17 steering rack is rattling noise, dealer replaced a tension spring and it worked for a while then rattle came back, then dealer replaced the whole rack assembly back in January, rattle went away till couple weeks ago I started hearing the damn rattle again,so car is going back to dealer soon:/
-
Dang I’m glad I’m not having all those issues on MY17,the only issue I have is steering rack rattle, dealer just replaced the rack assembly back in January but I’m starting to hear the rattle again

Trying to figure out how to play video without having to engaged the E-brake.
-
Just replace o2 sensor and spark plug,I doubt your cat needs to be replaced.
-
Nice!pretty low miles for 2015,on my 2017 the only issue I had was the steering rack spring rattle, they had to replace the steering rack assembly months ago,but I’m starting to hear it again, good thing I have extended warranty:)
-
Did they replace the whole rack or just that problematic spring?
First they just replaced the spring, but a month later rattle came back so they replaced the rack assembly, few months later I started hearing the rattle again a few days ago,I hear it more when first driving car in the morning about 15-20mph even on small bumps.
-
I had the dealer replaced my car steering rack months ago(maybe 6-7months)due to rattling ,well just a few days ago I’m starting to hear the rattle again but it’s not really loud yet so most likely it’ll go back to dealership again

I will have to change my battery soon, which size battery will use up battery tray 100% and still be able to be secured using OEM setup?
Red optima fits right in.
