Cool man,let me know how the new alternator works out,I removed my subs for now,everyone I turn my headlights on I hear a noise through my speakers,seems like a grounding issue.

I wonder what exactly is causing the steering rattle,can we DIY fix, When dealer replace my steering rack like about 8-9 months then rattle came back again.

My steering rack was replaced back in march2020 due to the rattle noise,and noise went away and just started making the same noise again since this past January.

Have you tried disconnecting battery to reset ecu and see if it’ll problem comes back? I remember it happened to me once so I disconnect battery for a couple of minutes and ever since problem never came back.

You should be fine,if car starts bouncing too much or you uneven tire wear,then replace it.

Check the ACC fuse if you haven’t yet.

I believe either mechman or jsalternators makes one for our car,I’m also thinking of upgrading mine,I did all big3 and all wires 1/0 ofc gauge,but when I’m driving and bass hits I can feel the car loses power.

Ah ok I have stoptech rotors with STi pads But my brother bought powerstop cross/drilled rotors and pads installed on his Lexus and it made noise for weeks and I told him to replace the pads and he got a cheaper pads form AUTOZONE and no more noise.

I always use optima,always lasted me 4-6 years

Did you do a break in process when you had the cross/drilled rotors?also a lot of times it’s not the rotors it’s the pad you use.

I used a chrome delete roll vinyl wrap gloss black.

our Link from Crutchfield not showing fortin evo one. The tele-connect is like star link except the remote starting which starlink doesn’t have. Do you have the push start model?if so just wanna let you know that it shuts off your car when you open your door when you remote start.

I installed fortin evo-one with this https://www.crimestopper.com/en/sp-502-copy on my 2017 premium and no it does not affect star link features. I can use both rf kit 2way and mobile app.

Yes those spacers will fit,I am using 2015 STi front rotors with my ATS-V Cadillac brembo calipers.

You’ll be fine should be no issues at all.
