  1. NO! My cars are devaluing to fast as it is
  2. preferably good condition, would pay a couple hundred
  3. Yeah, bolts are at home though so I can do it tonight
  4. Sure, not to be lazy but my review is up. https://www.cobbtuning.com/products/fuel-system/subaru-flex-fuel-ethanol-sensor-kit-5-pin-lgt-2010-2012 Nutshell they pack a ton of kits wrong, the picture on the website show the wrong wire harness, the fuel lines are just a tad off but they aren't offering a fix for that only sending out the correct wire harness. They say they have fixed their kits but a facebook group member recently bought one and it was wrong. He spoke with them all day and their customer service guy insisted he had the right part. I talked to him for 5 minutes and he had proof they sent him the wrong kit. Hold off on buying it for now. Once they straighten their shit out I'll let you know. It has potential to be a super easy plug and play set up.
  5. You should just start buying through one of us Freedomfolk and having it shipped over there.
  6. Hole down the bolt looked to be about the same big tube as the standard. The one with the small hole was machined witch much more precision.
  7. That's cool. Who wants to collect a bunch of VINs and try to crack the code?
  8. Mine is a 2010 Limited and my VIN is 4S3BMFK61A1224035 So what if I have it memorized.
  9. The 2.5i cars are the FB25 motors I believe. So quite a bit different.
  10. Ooooooh me likey. Also that VIN 4S3BMFK6X? never seen an X there before. Was that a special option or build date?
  11. That must be similar to our oil cooler by the oil filter.
  12. Welcome! You are now the proud new owner of a unicorn sleeper. The Bilstein coilovers may give you a rougher ride but you'll corner much better. Hoods are not easy to find in stock and are expensive. I would suggest you look into a high end detail including paint correction. Whiteline has a great front and rear sway bar kit. I did the install and can give you some advice on it but you'll probably have to pull the midpipe in order to do it.
  13. I don't know of any Subaru CVTs having a factory cooler. If you have a CVT fluid leak you'd want to get that fixed. You can do it yourself but do some research first.
  14. Dude good eye. Just mic'd it at .0595" https://imgur.com/a/BUUPx8Z
  15. Made this post on the 5th gen LGT facebook group but I am posting it here since I know there are some forum guys not on facebook. I want to stress I'm not out for blood. I just want to make sure cobb gets it right so the flex fuel kit for our cars can be a success and we can continue to see products offered specifically for these unicorns. I hope by then end of next month I can delete both of these posts and give 5 star reviews with dyno graphs to make a 4th gen gt drool out his tail pipe. Thanks for having a read and I hope you join me in trying to be on Cobb's side and not against them.
  16. Yes that is correct. You can use either (3) bolt but the parts department will tell you the exact one they "confirm" fitment on given your VIN number. One is the standard banjo and one is a banjo with a small restrictor hole. The m10 on top of the turbo also has a restrictor hole so I am not sure if it makes a difference.
  17. I've got my old suspension sitting in my garage. They had about 110k when I switched to coilovers.
  18. Yeah that feels like a rip off. Must be some funky tax laws or something. If you are having trouble ordering a part hit me up. I'll but it and ship it out to you at cost. Might save you a little bit of cash.
  19. What are you referring to? The bolt linked is the banjo bolt that goes on top of the turbo for the oil supply line. It has a small hole but does not have a filter.
  20. I agree with you but without the parking brake the manual car technically has no parking ability. So that fault could be considered a failure of a critical function. On an automatic the gear selector has a park option which would cover that critical function and therefore a failure of the electronic parking break would be a broken luxury item. I'm not saying it's cool. I'm just playing devil's advocate for why they are not covering it via recall and might be covering it under recall.
  21. Typically those contacts are on the side edge of the window near the C pillar. I had to re-soldier them on my old Monte Carlo. If you get in the back seat facing the rear and put your head against the glass look right and left and you should find them somewhere. Additionally if your side rear view mirrors also have the defogger they might be tied in the same circuit and if one of those is out it could also cause the rear to go out.
  22. I had to cancel my appointment since the maintenance on my car is taking longer than expected. Thanks for the tip on ordering the part since I didn't do that. I'll make sure to do it before I schedule the next one.
