Oh don’t tell me that, our ‘07 Odyessy w/ 160k is getting old. Trying to wait a couple years before we pull the trigger on a replacement. -

I like the second scoop as well. Little bigger opening, but not crazy. Found a old thread with that picture from 2010. http://legacygt.com/forums/showthread.php/subaru-legacy-stanza-bulge-bonnet-frp-hood-scoop-bl-bp-146989.html This Stanza scoop lip looks similar http://www.hkc-speed.com/product/stanza-hood-scoop-lip-extension-garnish-finish/ But I wouldn’t want the lip separate, rather a new piece that is similar in shape. -
I would expect the case is helping insulate/retain heat on the back. Unscientific surveys with other tablets in the past have led me to that conclusion. Curious to see what the temp would be in there if you had a sun shade in the windshield. I wouldn't mess with trying to get the battery to operate at a higher temp, I would look more toward how to keep it cooler if possible. Could you mount it without the case or drill a bunch of large holes in the case so that it's just a lightweight skeleton of a case?

What do you have connected to your tablet when in deep sleep? I had a USB hub and/or USB DAC that was sucking the power out when I was supposedly in deep sleep. So far the replacements are doing much better and I'm only losing about 1% per 24hrs of deep sleep.

No compromise Legacy 3.0R spec.B tune up

Simply amazing, would love to drive something like that one day! Thanks for sharing all the details, love seeing what people put into their car that they are passionate about. -
I installed a little switch on the inside of the console by the driver's seat to cut the power from the accessory convertor I have under the console. This allows me to decide when to power the N7. I'm going to put in the timer as well to help with ECU resets. When I reset, there are times that the engine cuts out when learning the fuel tables. This will muck up the N7 something fierce.

USDM beam just needs the corners cut off, I have pictures somewhere, I'll try to find them. -
Beautiful car, beautiful country, just amazing. You've got one of the best looking outbacks in my opinion. Well done!

How to load pictures and files to the Site's server
Infosecdad replied to SBT's topic in Site Announcements
You need to resize them to no more than 1600px on the long side. There are several problems with offsite hosting: - someone can change the pictures after the sale - doesn't survive the future (Photobucket) -

Remove the foam and trim the corner off your USDM bumper beam or pick up a JDM beam as Magnusonsubie said. Also, sourcing the JDM headlight brackets will definitely help with the fitment as well. These bumpers have a slightly different mounting setup. -
Mine went through this for a number of months, but in the last 2-3 it's only happened once. It's a tricky thing to figure out. I kept seeing just enough current through my USB power to keep it from deep sleep, so I wired a kill switch inline to straight up kill the power to help force a consistent deep sleep.

What about Bluetooth for control? I have a 2007 HU in my 2005, N7 2013 via USB DAC and iPhone via Bluetooth and the controls for the HU will control the tracks/etc on the iPhone. I have the Aux (CD changer) emulation right now as I have SAT radio as well on my system. If I had steering wheel controls, my understanding is that it would work as well for controlling tracks and such. I like it because with the GROM, I can be listening to music or a movie over the N7 tablet via USB DAC and still have the iPhone on BT overlay nav prompts or phone calls. I think the same idea should apply if I used the N7 2013 over bluetooth...

Should I sell or recycle stock DP
Infosecdad replied to EatingInternet's topic in Fourth Generation Legacy (2005 - 2009)
The regs say they are only supposed to do mirrors for <96, but they do all. I'll try harder next year. I hate the process of replacing my downpipe each year. -

Invidia catted is up higher and can't be seen. I can't pass visual with it and have kept my stock for the once a year check. Others are in the lower section and will pass visual for some people. If you may need it for inspection and have the room, keep it. If not, I would sell it, someone will come along that wished they had kept theirs...
