I'm sure it does but it's an apples to oranges comparison. Your remote start isn't the same one installed in the OPs car most likely and definitely isn't the same TWO I had installed in my own 2016. My experience is detailed elsewhere but in a nutshell, my dealer installed an OEM plug and play Subaru remote starter in my car before I took delivery. It soon failed to work properly. Warranty replaced it. That one soon began malfunctioning. SOA bought it back from me and I removed it myself. A contact at SIA flat out said the current (at that time) remote starter was junk, to remove it and go aftermarket. So I did. Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk

The OEM remote start will lock the doors, this is not a prerequisite for operation of the starter. OP, if your remote starter is the Subaru unit, it's a POS and needs to be replaced with something that works. There are many threads here about these, even one of my own. Thanks for posting this, the hi beam assist was something that irritated the hell out of me on the wife's car. I never bothered to get out the manual, just figured it was a quirk of the system. This helps.

And do less than a cold air intake on these cars.

Must be one badass wheel bearing that can make noise sitting in the garage. The issue has been asked a thousand times if it's been asked once. Answered above by ammcinnis. Happy New Year to you also.

What TF is this? Never heard of it in three years owning my car, haven't seen it in the manual's service schedule, the dealer hasn't pestered me calling it a "recommended maintenance".

Took a look around my local dealer while service had my car this week. Only one XT and no Touring on the lot. Was disappointed to learn the Touring only comes with that uglyassed orange leather, have to drop to Limited to get different color. And still not thrilled about start/stop. I'm fumbling through the site in search of stickies or loose posts concerning problems with the infotainment system, specifically USB file problems. Agree with all of this. And I've driven my 2016 3.6 at the ridiculous driver's license losing speed of 115, on a highway, and never once felt in danger or close to losing the car. That kind of talk is simply over exaggeration and rightfully so called out. Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk
