  1. Do a little foot work and your questions are answered. You already know there's a class action going on so.... And no, Subaru says you must you an OEM replacement on Eyesite cars and I've never seen or heard of an aftermarket company that will put any sort of aftermarket windshield in an Eyesite car. My 2016 is on it's third windshield, my wife's 2019 is on it's second. We had to change our insurance to 100% glass breakage coverage. Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk
  2. The ECM will compensate for your vac leak. Why are you doing this? Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk
  3. I hate that ugly leather on the XT Touring, hope they introduce other colors in 21. As of today you can't order a 20 or 21 Legacy of any trim as they've cut off 20s and haven't released the 21 yet. Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk
  4. I knew it was only a matter of time. Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk
  5. The factory is on shut down for MY change over so if your car wasn't available last week it's not going to available this week or likely next week. I talked to my local dealer about an XT and was told they are rare, hard to get, and was told I'd have to order one. Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk
  6. Because a new trans cost $12k maybe? Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk
  7. It wasn't, thanks for noticing. I gave up and figured nobody wanted the answer. Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk
  8. At you trying to say your car would have idled away 39 gallons of fuel in an hour otherwise saved by start stop? I really hope you are joking. Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk
  9. True. However I don't think the guy made some huge egregious error calling the thing an eight speed nor did he have malicious intent in doing such. He simply used words he and everyone else understood, his understanding of the function of the CVT notwithstanding. In other words he's not wrong so maybe lighten up a little? 10. 127k, 2016 3.6. Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk
  11. Ok, so the software now contains 8 "manual" ratios. Big deal. Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk
  12. I want someone to clarify, these problems are for the CVT and not the HTCVT, correct? The thread I about the HTCVT and im wondering if CVT problems have crept in. Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk
  13. Pull the ger selector over and use the paddles. Done. Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk
  14. Production starts but it will be only a fraction of capacity. It's going to be a while before they get back to anything close to normal production numbers. Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk
  15. Yup. Subaru's mantra, protect the CVT. You'll never ever get WOT from a standing start without some computer hacking. Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk
  16. March isn't over yet. But then SIA is shut down next week, too. And there's a possibility of a second week. Only you can decide how long is too long. Sorry for the delay. Were it me I'd just keep driving my 2013 until the new one arrived. Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk
  17. I can't hear your engine but both of my wife's 2.5ls have a thud to them when cold started. Noise goes away after a couple minutes. Normal for these it seems. Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk
  18. When I bought the car my intention was to keep it until it was paid off and beyond, if possible. If my current rate continues I'll have 175-180k on the car when it's paid off and I'd like to keep it for another year beyond that, depending on what the car is costing me to operate and maintain. So I'm looking at right at 200K and that's when I'll consider a replacement unless my hand is forced before then. I toyed with the idea of buying one of the last 2019 3.6R cars but because of the miles I couldn't get enough money for my car on trade so decided to keep it according to my original intentions.
  19. After our second cracked windshield we changed our insurance to 100% glass coverage, zero deductible. The first I paid OOP, the second, insurance minus deductible, the third, first one on the new coverage, 100% paid by insurance.
  20. I do 90 mile round trip a day with my 3.6 to work and back. Indeed, that's a big reason I bought the 3.6, the easy highway cruising. Explains the 116k I have on the car as of today. Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk
  21. Yeah, I'm on my third windshield. 2016. Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk
  22. I went group 34. Battery is shorter but the clamp has enough thread to compensate. Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk

  24. Just replaced my left side fog lamp housing. Hit an animal a few weeks ago and blew the light. At least that's what I thought until I crawled under to replace the bulb and found the housing busted and being held in with a single screw. Sometimes I wish they'd use a little more metal.
