  1. got more pics of that turbo? hows the fins look? as long as it's not destroyed, i'll take it.
  2. exactly this. the aftermarket system uses OEM components to "trick" the car in to doing what it wants, if the car is now acting up after installing it, its because the aftermarket remote start wasnt tapped into the proper things.
  3. have you taken the cam caps off and looked at the journals? I'm vaguely interested and also vaguely local.
  4. is that pre-assembled? I don't mind riviting one together if it'll fit when separated into individual pieces.
  5. fyi these are outback parts. your original post does not state that.
  6. That chunk you took a picture of is part of the flex plate, i bet it was cracked from factory and warped and exploded when you hit the gas
  7. thats gonna need a weld, it's not a separate fitting --- thats your block that has cracked.
  8. Same, I'm just waiting for prices to be listed. I don't know what I need but I sure know my budget.
  9. leaky injector or wiring causing injector to stick on
  10. i think you mean Idle Air Control Valve. it's not a sensor
  11. I was lifted last year and did not have vibration and still don't have vibration this year. The car is only 1" over stock outback height in the suspension (the larger tires also lift it but doesnt affect cv angle). I haven't seen any problems.
  12. IMHO the 20mm wheel spacers and oversized tires I have really make it go from eh to mean as hell
  13. Sent you a message twice but it's not showing up in my sent folder so I am unsure if you've received them or not.
  14. they bottom out. buy from subaru so you know youre geting ones of the proper length and width
  15. Winterized my outback today. Went from 215/45R17's and JDM Wagon Bilsteins To 225/60R17 H6 Outback Front spring/strut & 1” lift spacer, Megan (Outback P/N) rear coils set max height & 1" lift spacer, Godspeed and Megan lateral arms, Subie Lift Oz Trailing Arm spacers Other mods not related to the lift specifically present in pictures but not listed.
  16. check first to see if your coolant is properly topped off, and that after a short drive both the upper and lower rad hoses are warm or hot to the touch
  17. the seal may have just gone bad, but try tightening the bolt first. I doubt the oil change place will know wtf is wrong
  18. you could probably just download an app that converts file types.
  19. you probably damaged an abs wire, vehicle height has nothing to do with how the traction control operates source: i have an 05xt that i slam in the summer and lift 4" in the winter also: if you havent changed out the rear bump stops, you will want to because at that height you're probably riding on them when you put someone in the back seat. TBH cutting shorter the rubber cone that sticks off the body would suit your needs. or replacing it and the arm with a legacy one
  20. if you are using an aftermarket boost control solenoid (which you should be), you should not be using a restrictor pill. post a picture of how it is set up.
  21. Is it possible you had miss identified the pin positions on the 4 pin connector and were ohming the wrong pairs?
  22. Yeah I didnt mean to come off as an ass, I'm also in pending obxt fitting, but tbh it should fit with a bit extra foam sealer
