  1. That won't be a direct bolt up so you have a very small chance of anyone trying it.
  2. Charge pipe and intake are two different animals though. From what I've read the charge pipe can have structural issues at higher than stock boost pressures. Same idea as Rutchard lol
  3. It's from holding back the tears because we hardly ever see another 5th Gen GT. Perhaps we're cranky because the WRX's always give us dirty looks. I'm just gonna go with he hadn't had a good cup of coffee yet. That always makes me cranky.
  4. Beastly! I wish mine was as nice, but maybe one day I'll get it there. Beautiful ride man!
  5. I have the same mount except it's a vent clip version. The pre-installed double sided tape on the metal plate sucks btw. The V3 already has a built-in metal plate correct? Edit: strange that we had such different experiences with the double sided tape. I ended up cleaning off the old one and using loctite double sided tape. Worked much better for me.
  6. Is it definitely only for in stock parts? I'm hoping that I can get some special order parts at this discount.
  7. Was on the way to get my girlfriend some Subway. I held the door for a mail man that was working and he says to me "Nice car! It's like a WRX but it's not." I tell him it's a Legacy GT turbo. "Didn't even know they made any. It's really nice!" he replies.
  8. That panda is going to chew up serious amounts of bamboo!
  9. V2 but still I figured I'd post my solution for now. May route the cable through one of the unused areas on the mirror control panel.
  10. ^^^ Mine is not even in the same zip code, but I still read this thread
  11. I usually don't go north of Stoughton, but rarely see any GT's. Lots of n/a and the occasional 3.6
  12. Well it's about getting the exhaust gas to bypass the turbine and continue along the exhaust track. Kinda related to the downpipe.
  13. Hello and thanks for bumping this 2010 Subaru Legacy 2.5GT Limited CBS Age: 38 Location: New Bedford, MA Subarus Owned: 1st Mileage: 114k miles (2nd owner) Occupation: QC/lab tech at Acushnet Rubber Company (Precix O-Rings and seals) Performance Mods: Stock Cosmetic Mods: Stock Haven't done anything to her yet besides cleaning, and basic maintenance. Fluids, filters, spark plugs, and downstream O2 for a P0420 it had started to throw. I'm sure I'll get around to some mods soon enough
  14. Not exactly relevant, but it's funny seeing the terms viton and nbr tossed around. I work at an o-ring manufacturer.
  15. I kinda like the bronze. It's different. Wouldn't be my first choice, but I can dig it.
  16. While I'm glad you were able to get your issue resolved, I'm going to miss this thread. It was a must read. I can't even begin to imagine how frustrating this whole process has been.
