  1. ^ It is Carbide Gray and a 2016. Maybe that's why is feels so much better. It is better meaning tighter and rides better, more comfortable. You can definitely tell that something changed with the chassis or suspension. This car feels awesome compared to mine.

  4. Got the approval from my Husband to let go of my WRX wheel and tire set up. Has TPMS sensors. Doing this is preparation of trading it sooner than later. Look at the pics in my album. PM me if interested. Local only, sorry everyone.
  5. If I had to replace my OEM windshield (ES equipped or not), I would go the aftermarket route as long as it didn't void any part of the warranty or GTP. Usually with the aftermarket big boys, you'll get similar if not the same quality for a fraction of the price of an OEM one.
  6. ^ OMG! I want those tires!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  7. ^ I do like the Limited wheels and was hoping to find some locally for sale. I haven't found any so started looking for alternatives. Found the WRX set and am happy... But preferred to find the Limited
  8. Actually looks pretty good. What a bitch to keep clean though.
  9. ^I also agree with you. We carry it - a very good idea.
  10. I have to agree with you^. Our windshields are very thin.
  11. I've seen at least 6 vehicles within the last month, equipped with DRLs, driving at dusk and even night without their headlights OR parking lights on. So, I believe DRLs are dangerous in that manner.
  12. ^ They are the Premium wheels, partially Plasti-Dipped.
  13. ^ Barely noticeable really. The WRX wheels I have are 8.5. The stock Limiteds are 8. There's not as many tire choices for the 8.5 wheel as there are for the 8. So I went with an inexpensive summer tire that was brand name and looked good. I could have done 235/50/18 but that limited my choices and I wanted a wider tire.
  14. I am not being sarcastic... But I wish you the best with this situation^. I doubt a lawyer will be able to get much done, that's why there's the Warranty and Lemon Law, etc. I would contact SOA and talk with them. If you don't get what you want, then you can explore other options like the Lawyer and BBB.
  15. It must be how the cars are being driven, we don't usually drive them above 3,000rpm. I know you didn't want to hear this sf, but our 2014 Crosstrek has 19,000 miles and I change the oil every 6 months or 5,000 miles (we don't drive a ton) and we don't have oil consumption issues. My Legacy is 10 months old with 6,800 miles and no oil issues either. I have a consistent coolant smell and both cars are coolant alcoholics, but that's another thread... So I'm wondering, are the cars that are consuming oil at a fast rate being driven hard? I will note - An acquaintance of ours has a 2014 Forester with the 6spd stick and has about 15,000 miles. She's on her 3rd (yes THIRD) engine due to oil consumption. So it leads me to believe that the cars that are consuming oil at rate of an alcoholic hobo, are being wrung out.
  16. Not a challenge that I'll create or participate in
  17. That's why I chose something easy, to get some participation. But I will change it to something even easier tomorrow.
