  1. I can't answer that for you, because the delete is LOUD and the 5" muffler is less loud, but is still louder than the stock muffler. YouTube "nameless muffler" and you'll get both sound clips.
  2. An axle-back is easiest, and probably most cost effective. I no longer have my 2015 2.5, but when I did, I had a muffler shop make a custom "dual" exhaust with muffler deletes, and I got a lot of compliments on the sound as well as the look. YouTube some sound clips and have fun!
  3. Same process here, unless on flat ground.
  4. I ended up getting a 50th Anniversary Legacy, and just put a 2" ADF lift on it with 1" wheel spacers... This helps A LOT and makes me feel better. However, I will still be getting out of it for something else in a while.
  5. Depends on trim level, but the base G80 starts close to the most expensive Legacy.
  6. Sometimes, this is what you have to do, move on. Nice choice, I rather like the Genesis.
  7. It's not unheard of - wheel bearings are a point of weakness for our cars.
  8. The CVT in the Ascent is still not perfect, as I know a handful of people that have issues... As long as you're okay with doing things under the warranty, then you're fine. This reins true for 2015+ CVT Subaru models, generally speaking.
  9. There's a base Limited trim, with no sunroof...
  10. None for me, however yes Subarus burn some oil. Oil Consumption tests are completed all the time, so maybe ask your dealership to do one and see what they find.
  11. Yep, I had to drill the underside hole only, as the hole didn't exist on my 50th Anniversary edition. I drilled the rear, but not the front. It sits flush and is still very secure, so I am fine with it as is.
  12. "Ya know how maddening it is when that automatic lift-gate decides not to open and you're standing in the rain holding groceries? And it was most often in the rain or snow. Dealer couldn't replicate. Of course not because it was a random thing. Nothing that will kill ya but very annoying and a known issue." I had a new, 2017 as a Loaner for a week, and this happened twice.
  13. Hold down the Power/Volume button for 15ish seconds and your head unit will reset itself. If that doesn't solve your problem, take it to the dealership.
  14. But why? I will be replacing mine with a Tacoma or 4Runner, most likely.
  15. I'm one of the nicest people you could ever meet - I'm just a stickler for spelling and grammar. Didn't mean to offend, if I did.
  16. And after years of owning Subaru’s, you still spell it Subbie. It’s Subie, not Subbie. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  17. That's more than fair, since it's way out of warranty. I'd bet that SOA is gearing up to give you a new head unit at no cost or at some ridiculously low cost. Going to another dealer for another opinion isn't a big deal, in the grand scheme of things...
