  1. Most definitely getting some miles out of money well spent. Hope all is well Mike.
  2. Surprisingly the Rota's are 20.9 Lbs while the Gramlights are 23 Lbs. Who would have known
  3. I'm thinking of swapping my 17x9+38 Gramlights for Rota SVN's in the 18x8.5+48 flavor with some 235/40-18 Indy 500 tires. I love how the Gramlights fit in the rear (after rolling and pulling) but I can't stand the poke out front and the periodic rubbing on the front fenders if I hit a bump at certain speeds. I always thought the wider the wheel the better the grip but in conversations with you (boxkita) and reading some of your post I've come to realize there is more to grip that simply the width of the wheel. I'm also considering swapping my T1 400LB spring for 500LB springs maybe even 600LB or a combination of both. 600Lb in the front and 500Lb in the rear. All this for a car that will only see canyon runs periodically but daily driving duties Monday through Friday.
  4. How much shipped for the airbag to San Diego, CA, 91915. Thanks
  5. Where did you source a ST205 Celica? Please post pictures when you do get it. I'd love to own one some day.
  6. Do you have a part number or how did you source these? They are really clean. My passenger side door card has a dog bite indent from the previous owner and these door cards are in amazing shape.
  7. Here in Cali all those nozzles would have to be hidden under the manifold runners rather than visible like in your setup. Then again this engine swap would never be street legal in Cali
  8. Sorry to hear you are having issues, I hope it gets resolved soon and you post new numbers inline with your upgrades. Is there a particular reason you went with an external wastegate?
  9. What are you getting done to your car nowadays and what shop did you end up at? I am dreading taking the car anywhere since Infamous Performance closed its doors. Granted I've had no issues with the car and have gone back to doing things myself.
  10. Would you mind posting pictures of your setup? I'm interested in your vacuum referenced fuel dampers.
  11. I'm on a Southbend stage 2 Endurance holdind 500 WHP. The clutch is also DD friendly if you were wondering.
  12. And here I am with a set of V25B heads that I bought for my build originally. I ended up just reusing the D25 and thought I could resell the V25B's and recoup some of my investment. Two years later and now I'm thinking I might as well keep them for my next build. Sorry for dumping on your thread.... Free bump for you sir!
  13. Been wanting to do this myself but like you I also like horsepower too much
  14. Went back to my Group N pitch stop after using a torque solutions one for 6 months. I didn't realize how much more noise the torque solutions introduced. Replacing it even got rid of some random feedback knock I would get between 3000 and 3500 RPM. No other noticeable change in shifting feel or engine movement.
  15. Decided to give Mobil Delvac Syn Gear 75W90 fluid a shot both on my transmission and rear diff. So far I had stuck to the OEM fluid lets see how it feels.
  16. I didn't think thanking this post was appropriate so instead I made this post. Sorry to hear of your loss but I'm glad you have the wisdom to recognize when it's time to walk away. I'm sure your family appreciates it as well. Hopefully we'll still get your input here in the forum from time to time.
  17. Wish I knew there was a guide. I'm assuming this is applicable to those using an OEM header with an aftermarket uppipe. When I swapped the VF52 with the Dom 1.5 I removed and reinstall my Killer B uppipe and I didn't follow a guide at all. Then again the uppipe is v-band as oppose to bolted.
  18. My Spec B is a 500 whp "monster". Is the 2015 STI tranny really that much stronger?
  19. If wagons came with a stout six speed I would have gone for that instead of the Spec B. On that note, sometimes I get an urge to buy a wagon and just swap everything over from the Spec B. (Engine, transmission, etc)
