  1. Rotated the tires and while it cleaned the wheels inner and outer sections. Changed the oil and rear differential fluid. Giving Mobil Delvac 75w-90 a shot. Debated using Delvac 75w-90 in the transmission but chickened out, lol. I'll research it further and make a decision soon. Thank God I've worked on cars long enough to know you remove the fill plug before removing the drain plug because the sucker was on super tight on the rear diff.
  2. Wheel fitment is spot on! Such a clean wagon
  3. When I had mine installed Mike at Infamous told me the same thing, so I bought a new FW instead of resurfacing.
  4. I stopped tallying once I went over the 30k mark.... Sometimes I think about it and realize I could have bought a GTR I love my Spec B though, so no regrets.
  5. When I tallied mine I was clear passed the 30k range and cosmetically speaking your cars are in better shape than mine. I purposely drive around with tinted windows that are bubbling up in the passenger side because I've convinced myself that when a cop pulls me over he'll just assume my car is just lowered with an exhaust and nice wheels because any self respecting car enthusiast would have the tint replaced and as such there's nothing special going on with the car. More importantly though, like you this is a labor of love rather than an investment. Still I hope if and when the time comes I can get at least 12k for the car. One can hope, right?
  6. I absolutely love this build.
  7. You and I both. I love the Stromung sound way too much, specially with the windows down but it does drone a bit too much for my taste, specially when I have the family in it. I've had a vibrant resonator sitting in the garage for months now, but I'm afraid it will change the beautiful sound of the Stromung way too much and I'll just end up hating it. Sorry for the long rant, I'll eventually get the resonator on and go from there.
  8. Compare to the Torque Solutions I used before, none. Compared to the Group N mount very little. I did notice an immediate shifting improvement compared to the Group N pitch stop. It is an aluminum body with urethane bushing (rating of 80).
  9. Replace the Pioneer nav microphone and relocated the GPS antenna which resulted in slightly better accuracy but still not good enough. Installed the Grimmspeed Pitch Stop mount along with a new transmission mounting bracket.
  10. That is precisely the point of the modification. Bill stopped at 500whp because I wanted him to. He was sure there was more left. I was :spin: I don't have any equipment to measure temps so I can't offer to do any testing. I'm contempt with Dom's research and results though.
  11. I've had a similar kit in my possession for a few months now, but have yet to install it. I basically bought the OEM fitting used on the twin turbo setups. I've been putting it off even though I have the OEM coolant and conditioner in my possession already. I have yet to ask Bill (Tuner) if this modification will require any adjustments to the tune, I don't see why it would need a tweak but I'll ask none the less.
  12. I love my 10CM 1.5XT-R bump for you sir. If you don't mind me asking, what turbo are you running now?
  13. Did you source these through HKC or someone else? They are in great shape!
  14. When I upgraded to a double din I never had the controls working. After so long I'm use to not having them.
  15. Have you made any changes recently? Anything needing tuning? How many miles on the sparkplugs? If you swap the ignition coil with another cylinder does the misfire follow?
  16. zero1jdm is his Instagram.... I just sent a request.
  17. The sad part is the shops that actually do provide excellent customer service and prompt completion don't get as much support and end up having to close their doors. To this day I consider myself blessed to have met Mike and gotten most of the work on the Spec B completed at Infamous Performance. I hope you get your car soon and everything is as it should be; good to go.
  18. I heard that may throw off the A/F ratio reading.... I've been tempted to test that theory but decided to leave it alone.
  19. Are you doing the work yourself? I'm hoping you can tell me if these cars are harder or easier to work on than the Subarus. Is there a way to tell if you have a fake one? I haven't had issues with the one I bought about a year ago, but I do recall the cable length between the O2 I replaced and the new one being different colors and different lengths. The new one had a shorter cable with yellow protective wrapping while the older one was wrapped in blue and longer.
  20. I'm loving the look of the Alltrack specially now that I've seen it lowered with some wheels. I can see why you are entertaining selling the OB now. How's the gas mileage and have you done any tuning yet? A quick search revealed a re-flash will increase power output to 258 HP or so but you will be forced to use 91 Oct fuel.
