  1. Hi and welcome to the forum, thenoodle. I also have an 07 Legacy wagon and feel your frustration searching for compatible bars. Firstly, US production specs will reflect that our market accessories will only fit til ‘07 as that was the last year of wagon model Legacy here. You did well finding the Perrycraft site, those bars are essentially the oem montblanc without Subaru badging. I went a different route w Thule square bars and a flush-rail specific foot adapter, which off the top I think is SR2 fit kit. Looking them up may save you some handling fees if sold domestically. Yakima also made systems that work on ‘07’s once upon a time. Finding either option used may save a little unless your object is to go for the oem aesthetic. Hope that helps.
  2. Nice setup. What bar do you have your lights on up front? Rallitek? SSD?
  3. Damnit, my words were stolen right out from under me: love and evolution! This beast just keeps getting better. Super inspirational.
  4. Starting to outgrow my JDM billies w pinks. These are on my short list. SubZ, what did you upgrade from? Any height change? How do you like the ride? Looking good, btw. If I had held out I would have scooped a white wagon.
  5. This used to be a captive audience aka the right crowd. Also find it incredible no one’s jumping on this beaut. Bring a trailer dot com, perchance? A few have sold nice examples on there but not this nice.
  6. Fwiw, these make great first time dad cars. Changing station built-in on wagons. Fits stroller/gear quite nicely in back. Just sayin bc I have a fourteen month old. Glws. Congrats on the new addition.

  8. Full circle. I always wonder what happened to my 08 OBP na Outback, bought new at dealer. Put 6k down, paid 6k over a year, and when I went to sell to carmax (bc 2008), had to pay them another 6k on the note. Needless to say, last time I’ll purchase brand new. But it gave me the love for this body style and I drove extensively on highway trips. I distinctly remember seeing an RBP Legacy somewhere near SLC and thinking, wait, what’s that? A low outback? Then fast fwd several years after relocating to CA, and a neighbor nearby had another RBP Legacy I’d notice frequently. When it came time to switch up my Honda Ridgeline I looked at 09 Outbacks with thoughts of lowering before finding this fine community and the FS section. Found the year AND color I wanted (07 dgm)and lo n behold, it was in SLC. Turns out the car was bought new and spent six years in CA and only one winter in Utah. Flew out and drove back. Nearly seven years later, still satisfied that I chased my phantom. OP, didn’t mean to hijack just inspired me to share. There’s Subaru love and then there’s Legacy love, a higher calling.
  9. Ooof. Hurts to look at. Keep the faith. When my radiator blew a few wks back, I debated it being the last fix on my wagon. For about ten seconds. You got this.
  10. Currently running identical suspension and that sounds like a phenomenal price, fwiw. Glws.
  11. https://sfbay.craigslist.org/sby/cto/d/santa-clara-rare2005-subaru-legacy/7368469434.html Who’s cruising for a bruising? Not my listing, looks tgtbt.
  12. Fellow west coaster, and it seems this ferocious smoke will be a regular if not soon-to-be year round occurrence. I ran this filter for awhile and it was great, however did not have it up during fire season(s). Pricey, yes, but the claim is a very high filtration. *not personally affiliated w brand or vendor, just vouching for quality. https://www.edoperformance.com/products/zero-sports-car-air-conditioner-carbon-filter-subaru-legacy-gt
  13. No dice there, either. Appreciate the heads up. One last potential source or oem it is after all. Going for aluminum with an external cooler and thermostat is just too steep atm.
  14. Thanks, Febreze. 70 mins pic to pic, open 100pk wipes, approx 60-70 used. With one eye malfunctioning on a wee case of Bell’s palsy. And my first engine detail. I am pleased with results.
  15. Speaking of cleaning up the engine bay, I needed a little meditation today and the crime scene was the obvious choice. I almost never have useful tips to share so lemme throw this out there: baby wipes work well for this application. And a basting brush w a small spray bottle of water. Before After
  16. Muchas gracias. Found a few extensive write-ups and installs recommending same. Appreciate the prompt reply on the tumbleweed express.
  17. D’oh! Karma got me quick for my humblebrag on the last page. Mere hours later I blew my radiator on the way home. Replaced once in a pinch within my ownership six years ago and didn’t get a choice besides a plastic and aluminum combo. Looking to replace w all aluminum and just spoke to a Mishimoto rep. And Rally Sport Direct. Relayed that their fitment is strictly for MT and they don’t make an external cooler for an AT. D’oh d’oh! Didn’t find much with a browse thru a giggle search of radiator and lgt.com specifically about auto trans. Koyo maybe? Any info/exp appreciated.
  18. Not sure, don’t have a pro tune myself just flashed an OTS Cobb map weeks ago. Novice so I’ll leave it to the tuning wizards here to answer that.
  19. Much obliged. Subaru time is hard to come by w a one year old. The a-pillars are also envy-worthy. Looks like next stop is crushing all comp at the Wicked Big Meet. Truly 1 of 1.
  20. Fantastic progress report(s). Lil jealous of the vinyl-wrapped shifter plate(among several other features), my installer said it was too difficult for him. Any chance you have a part no. on that weatherstrip for the top of doors? I’m sure I could dig up but then I’d have to like, you know, dig for it. Thanks for keeping the rest of us on our toes.
