  1. +1 for Invisible Glass inside and out. I use RainX bug juice for washer fluid, in my climate the annual RainX treatment does me well on exterior. Could stand to swap my air filter and see if it makes a difference, suspect it could. Doesn’t help that my ride doubles as the Legacy Lounge- an occasional parked beer (no keys in ignition) has become a pandemic parenting punctuation. And when I have a beer, I tend to enjoy some ocean grown aromatherapy. Windshield fog def accumulates faster when smoke is involved. I chalked it up to the Cheech n Chong factor.
  2. Did a thing today. 130k may be a lil odd for a milestone but essentially doubled the miles from previous two owners. Only took eight and a half years.
  3. Have ss lines on deck, but it’ll be a min before my son can help w anything beyond a Hot Wheels Subie. On topic, topped off tank and put Berryman’s on the shopping list. Figure a two-tank regimen wouldn’t hurt my mpg.
  4. ^ Uncle Mat’s suspension breakdown sticky was my bible when deciding on which variety of pinks was applicable to my wagon. Got mine years ago from Nengun in Japan, when bachelor life presented no obstacle to shipping fees. Oh, how times have changed. In world and life.
  5. Loving the parts selection/rarity of same. Lots of bits I didn’t know existed in nature even after nearly a decade on this board. Looks great, keep on keepin on.
  6. 20 even on the sale. Brings a touch of hope to the community.
  7. Broke 15k w an hour left. Little less sad.
  8. Pushing 7k w under a day left. Glad to see it broke 5k for such a low mileage garage queen.
  9. Thread revival bump. Saw my twin wagon last December. And a black wagon in my neighborhood park. Next day said wagon was behind me when I rolled out. Exchanged dubs. Seldom seen nowadays.
  10. Muchas gracias fellas. Took it six months ago and forgot about posting til I worked there again on Saturday. Encore for the love.
  11. Replaced front wipers w Bosch Icons once again. And gave the new owner a mock test drive. Car will be 30 when he gets a license
  12. Washed her yesterday. Dozen atmospheric river storms give or take since her last bath. Started just before sunset and didn’t finish til after dark, best pic I could muster. And yes, my sunshade can use a refresh. Among other things….
  13. It’s been years, I want to say in the $3/400 range. There was a member/vendor on here (HKC speed, idk how active now) that I got it from. Initially got one w red stitching then swapped before install when I found out there was a black on black option. Quick browse just brought one up on croooober for under $200. Happy hunting.
  14. I’m in the same boat, an 07 LGT wagon w AT and the shifter buttons next to the airbag. My wheel was peeling apart when I bought the car. Got an OEM replacement and was still underwhelmed. Thru the magic of this forum discovered the Zero Sports option for Legacy’s. It’s by far my favorite upgrade/mod on my whip simply for driver interface. It’s beefier in width and slightly smaller circumference than stock and def gives that racewagon feel. When my enthusiasm for owning a 16 year old car fades, the wheel always reignites it.
  15. Rolling to work a few weeks ago, spotted my twin(‘07 GT ltd. wagon in DGM). Getting off Sunday nite, stopped for a pop and parked in front of him. He was walking out of the bar I was headed into at the same time. Totally spontaneous event. Talked for a min, he’s not a member on here yet. But of course he’s eyeing a 6MT swap. Good people.
  16. Didn’t realize there were STI stainless lines. Sexy. On topic, checking oil at a fill-up last week resulted in a new bugaboo: hood wouldn’t fully latch closed. It shut, and held for a necessary 70 mile roundtrip over a prominent area bridge to work this weekend but I thought I was due for a new latch at least and likely a new release cable. Looking up replacement how-to’s brought up a YT clip I figured I’d share: rubbing alcohol. Sprayed it down thoroughly w a mist and the lower clasp grabbed again. Just seized from age and wear. Cable releasing just fine as well. Saved a lot of time and frustration. If anyone faces similar, esp in cold climes, try this first. Worked like a charm for me.
  17. Looking wagon-tastic. Seats really tie it together. Enjoy your journey.
