  1. Has anybody had any luck with these? http://http://www.autolightsbulbs.com/2005-Subaru-Legacy-Headlight-Assembly/K1108304.aspx?id=10029848&gclid=EAIaIQobChMIsa-gq-Sy9gIVzxmtBh2wTQAcEAQYBSABEgIO8_D_BwE Bonus points for nighttime pics!
  2. Thanks! I'm starting with the radiator because that was the first thing to go. It was spewing fluid all across the front of the seam at the top. I appreciate the advice on the other stuff. I'm planning on intake, exhaust and Cobb tuner. I'm also leaning toward getting the JDM nose. It just look so much better!
  3. Hello everybody! I'm an old hotrod guy, but just bought my first tuner (05 LGT). I need to replace the radiator and I'm looking to go full aluminum. What I'm looking at right now is the Mishimoto MMRAD-STI-08. I just can't figure out if it has the concentric cooler for the automatic trans. Also being new to all things tuner - Is there a better option? I like the idea of an aluminum radiator for a turbo car, but I don't know what I don't know. The car will be used solely for the street. No track days for me Thanks!
  4. This is exactly what I found but the console doesn't look right. Mine has roller-stye controls for the heated seats that are at the front of the console, not buttons like you see in the picture in the link you sent.
  5. I recently bought an 05 LGT And my wife drives a 2016 Legacy. I'm really excited about playing with turbos, but the one thing that I really like about the newer car is the arm rest. My LGT is an automatic and I find myself driving around with my hand on the selector like it was a gear shift. I've also seen arm rest extensions for the LGT on parts sites, but the pictures never look like my center console. So - Did Subaru make a center console elbow pad extension for the 4th gen cars? If so, can you point me to a good supplier? If not, is there a good after-market solution? Thanks!
  6. Thanks everybody! The advice has been invaluable. I've got the bezel from AVO JDM on the way and The Tight Fit Fab harness is in hand. I'll be picking up the Pioneer NEX next Friday and should have everything together the following week!
  7. Hi there, I just picked up an '05 Legacy GT wagon and black plastic interior parts (door handle bezels, around the top-center dash pocket) are covered in some kind of soft-touch coating that hasn't aged well. This car has never been modified, so it must be factory, but it's falling apart. The slightest touch leaves gouges in it. I'm wondering if there's a way to pull them and refinish, or a good source for replacement parts. I'm new to fixing up Subarus and the only good parts vendor I've found so far is subaruparts.com, who don't carry both door handle bezels. What would y'all do? Pull 'em and fix 'em, or just buy new? If you'd fix 'em, how would you go about it, and if you'd buy new, then where would you go? Thanks!
  8. Hello everybody - I'm brand new to the forum as I just bought an 05 2.5GT wagon. I'm looking at updating the stereo and can't seem to find any bezels for my model because it has electronic climate controls, rather than the (better looking) manual setup. I run a Pioneer double-din in my other cars and can't really live without it for my job. So. What does a guy with these controls and a real need for a double-din stereo do? Is there an option to downgrade the climate controls, or is there somebody who makes these bezels? Thanks!
