  1. get a face lift bumper with round fog lamps, more options with them.
  2. I've seen wings from other cars on other cars a lot.
  3. you can take it out and have it benched tested at local parts store

  5. pop it on 4 jack stands in neutral and spin the wheels. If your parking brake on?
  6. yeah it's a pain to find. I've had to replace both vacuum hoses that run off it which is even a bigger pain.
  7. I recently picked up a 05 LGT wagon for a flip and it has Tein Flex coilovers that i'm fairly impressed with.
  8. I'd check the calipers and brakes first. is it auto or manual?
  9. rod knock noise goes up and down with the revs. piston slap is when revving and not on decel. Rod knock sounds horrible and piston slap sounds "questionable"
  10. maybe something is up with your tune and the timing maping is off or something along the likes
  11. p01507 is idle air control and p0171 is a lean code. make sure you don't have a exhaust leak before the cat. The front 02 sensor is pretty easy to replace if it doesn't look new.
  12. Subaru plugs regardless of type (copper,platinum) of plug should really be changed every 30,00 maybe even sooner.
  13. Check the gaps on your plugs or change them out for one step colder plugs. I would have put new plugs in before the tune to insure even ignition across the engine. Also check the couplers you could have a boost leak and your tuner should be able to boost leak test it.

Yes you need lower the car onto jack stands, on to the hat of the rotors. both links need to be disconnect from the control arm then you can preload it by lining it up and tightening it. yes, debris from the road could contaminate the axle through the tear in the boot. Once all the grease flings out and water starts getting in it's done per se.

  18. you need to pre-load those style endlinks when installing them. Yes, the center there is only one. The other ones are cv joints/axles from the trans/diff to the wheels.
  19. Do you have any way to do some datalogging or to checking AF/Rs?
  20. do you have the whole front up in the air or just on one jack stand? Inspect the driveshaft, the carrier bearing/support bearing could be bad.

  23. Sounds like there is no power to it. Take it out and test the connector pins for power and then probe the unit it's self.
  24. Well something is wet. let it dry off with the hood open. Check to see if the air filter is wet. Buy a can of electrical connector cleaner and do all the important connections. Take out the spark plugs also check for water. Hopefully it will dry out and be fine.
