After pulling it a couple times and re clipping it back into place, yes. It did solve the issue.
Couple years later on after that issue, when I went to replace the trunk brake lights, I forgot to latch it back up and had the same issue of it not locking. As soon as it happened, noticed I forgot to properly seat it and it came off the clips holding it. As soon as it’s clipped in, it locked shut.
Kinda annoying, but it is what it is.

That right there might be the reason why this is a problem. About two months ago, we found the emergency handle thing in the trunk. It never fit right again; and I think it is because of the wire that held it in place. I’m going to get the new latch mechanism and replace it, as it is all together. Will report back!

I had a hard time putting it back together, but after a few mins, it went back into place.

Had similar issue once
Check the emergency latch release that’s inside the trunk. (Right above the latch)
Pull on it a couple of times and lock it back into place. That’s what helped mine go back to normal.

Check tmic, they’re known to separate and leak.
Check charge pipe flex section for rips.
Verify you have o ring at charge pipe to turbo connection.
Verify turbo inlet from intake to turbo is on and has o ring.
Last thing if all those fail.. start spraying carb/brake cleaner around all connections and see if you noticed a bump in idle.

Recently purchased an '11 LGT after perviously owning a '05 LGT that I put a lot of love into, but alas Philadelphia took her away.
Anywho, she's got 99k on her and the timing belt is next, and I just ordered the prothame diff insert kit and looking forward to a little quarantine fun.
Any other Philadelphia area LGT's around?

Try reducing the dimensions of the photos by 50%, that usually fixes the issue.
The published max sizes are incorrect.
Tried that. I contacted Tapatalk since I use the app and they stated the forum has an “outdated” plugin causing the issue. Just wanted to keep updating this since I am trying to post photos with no luck.

Curious what oil filter you are using after the relocation?
I've got the derale kit, looks like Fram PH8A is suggested.
Not sure if that's good in terms of relief valve pressure compared to the Subaru filter ?
Bit of an update, I've fitted the intercooler and piping.
Mamba Billet wheel arrived in the mail for the mgt2259s .
Hoping this is the final time I need to pull the headers off the car before I can drive it.
Still need to decide what to do about my exhaust system.
Absolutely, same relocation kit I believe as mine. Installed the filter on DS, right behind the bumper near the fog lamp and washer fluid tank. Easy removal there.
As far has the filter, I don’t like Fram filters, never have.
I ended getting the K&N 3001 filter. Massive filters compared to the stock ones.
Over the course of one year, dyno session and such. I’ve had absolute zero issue in terms of this kit. Slight seepage at the connections, but alittle plumbers tape and rtv as an added measure, works wonderfully.
Believe the 3001 filter has a RVP of between 8-11. Stock Subaru is maybe 11-16

Well the time as come as I’m starting the next process to build up my Gt. Everything I am posting will be removed in the next two weeks but wanted to get this out there for others to decide if they want it.
Hybrid VF54 20g Turbo
Socal Ported and Polished, as well as 20g 11 blade billet wheel. Clipped turbine wheel, ported wastegate and everything else to ensure this turbo can perform amazing. Was all finished off with new seals and gaskets. Roughly 2-3k miles since it was redone. Turbo may or may not come with stock bottom oil pan and or fittings.
Turbo is capable of 380+Whp with ethanol fueling, 350-360Whp on pump!

15+ Wrx turbo “hard”(metal) inlet. Replaces the factory flimsy plastic inlet that reduces a-lot of airflow. Hard Inlet is a true full 3” and tapered down to stock inlet turbo sizing amazingly. This is the adapter to turbo and silicone tubing to mate to intake tubing(stock or aftermarket). Mileage is 2-3k. Note* this requires a oil filter relocation kit that will be included with this sale to accommodate the added size and fitment issues. Will include proper O-ring to seal at turbo. Should be clear with a 40 offset.
When I went from a 42 to a 35 offset, there is no way in driving it without rolling/pulling the fenders.

Car will be getting a revised setup soon within the next month or so.
Hybrid 20g turbo, ID1000, synapses dv(bpv) and 3 port will be switched out for better goodies.
Look out for the F/S thread soon if anyone is interested in these parts.

Well if it ends up being a wrx flange, I’m not using the stock turbo. It’ll be mostly something upgraded.
After considerable thoughts, a t3, t4, t25 or a v band would benefit more options for us. But then we will have to deal with internal or external wastegate options.
I’m looking at a vband turbo that can be used instead of a wrx turbo, but this is all up to the fab shop.

Currently in contact with a fab shop to make a vf54 flange to a 15+ wrx adapter. To better accommodate more turbo options, while still utilizing our factory headers.
Might also help the issue too with clearing the oil filter housing.
Guess we’ll see what’ll happen.
Who else might be interested in this adapter?

Selling my fairly used front suspension off my 2007 Legacy GT.
Bought new back around September, decided to go with koni struts.
Complete front strut assembly, from strut, spring, dust boot, bump stop to top hat.
Assembly as about 4k miles on it.
Asking $130picked up, can be shipped as I have a box and all sealed up. Shipping cost can be determined, but roughly $32 for the size and dimensions.
