I am just going off what I saw of Swannee's DP when I did the swap. It looks much better designed than the GB ones. I have no idea why they changed it, but looks like it might have caused some issues.
Well I just talked with Swannee. He remembers ordering four cams when they did the motor. I am getting a bit of conflicting info between him and M Sprank. We can't find the paperwork. I am sure we will figure it all out. More for my curiosity than anything else.
This also does beg the question. If the Sti intake cams are the same then why would M Sprank go to all the trouble of slotting an Sti cam so that it would fit out motors?
Well I guess I am back to being equal to an 18g. Still not a bad place to be mind you. That is until I decide to find some sti exhaust cams and install those too.
Damn Enablers:lol:
As much as it sucks to say it I think that this may be a flaw in our turbos. Sounds like as soon as we get exhaust that can flow freely enough the WG just is not able to slow down the turbine. Even in some cases it sounds like with a ported WG. Could be just a problem with the WG flow design. All I know is that it sounds like we just need to have a restriction in the exhaust somewhere to inhibit flow through the turbo a bit.
