  1. I just talked to the guy at Subaru. I sent him pics of my label and my vin. He is meeting with the zone rep next week to go over the issue and should let me know after that.
  2. I am guessing it is not. When it comes in we will see though. I imagine it will be the exact same sticker he has now.
  3. I just spoke with the Service manager at EC and he is contacting the zone rep to see what to do. He said he will cal me back by the end of the day. Hopefully we can get this worked out. I am only about 10min away from there, so I may run by after work so they can look at it.
  4. Did you go to KM? I may just try to go there since they have knowledge of the problem.
  5. I try not too go to the dealer. I am talking to the tech at El cajon. I will be sure to contact Grant. Thanks for the link. Cody at Kearny Mesa is real good. He used to be the lead tech and now is teh Manager I believe.
  6. Subaru just emailed me back. Basically they said go to the dealer and have them verify your concern. I have a call into the lead tech at my dealer and he is looking into it for me. I will more than likely go by there this afternoon and have them verify my concern. I will keep you guys posted.
  7. If you pull the passenger side fan it is pretty easy to get to. Not a lunchtime thing if you have never done it, but it is not that bad. It is right at the turbo on the charge pipe.
  8. WTF. Talk about passing the buck. Well I emailed Subaru, but still have not heard back from them. Luckily I already was able to smog mine, but if I do not hear back from them soon I will be calling for sure. Seems to me that since this is their problem they should at least get you a loaner until the problem is solved.
  9. I am thinking of doing the same, but with my GT. Find an outback hood and fit an STI scoop to it. Anxious to see how it works out for you.
  10. I need a sticker that says a a 20g, the DP and the PW intercooler are stock:lol:
  11. I sent SOA an email about this to have a case opened. I would suggest that as many of us as possible do the same so that Subaru will understand how many have this issue. I am sure it is a real problem for them if they sold vehicles with incorrect emissions labels.
  12. That is exactly what I was going to say. If the dealer will not smog their own car then it is definitely their problem. I smogged mine before the swap with zero issues. You could just need a tech with more subie knowledge.
  13. I would try a second shop first and if that does not work see if SOA can get you another sticker. Ref is the last option, but would work for sure
  14. I could be wrong, but I think the tube diameter is smaller for the wrx intake than ours is. As GT said though. Feel free to give it a try. Someone should.
  15. ^^^Well that sure is an interesting development. I never heard of them making one either.
  16. Funny you should ask. Just ran my first logs after the first revision. Things are much better. HP is up a bit and TQ is way higher. Boost is up a bit too. You can see from the vdyno comparison below that the power is way smoother too. Overall it feels much better and power feels great all the way to 7k rpm. I am sure this is in large part due to the cams, but the IC and Cp have made a huge difference. And I swear minuccims I will get the PW IC shipped. It has been a crazy week, Sorry http://i1378.photobucket.com/albums/ah113/BBPeik/Untitled_zpshshzgmzf.jpg
  17. FWIW I have had absolutely no problem with overboost. Dead steady at 20-21 at 50%wgdc with the Invidia catted. May not be as "great" as the Nameless, but it works.
  18. It may be a good idea for all of the GB members to write a group email and send it regards of LGT.com. That would hopefully get their attention.
  19. So tomorrow I will be sending my first Datalogs into Bren after the intercooler/ charge pipe install. Also I had to make a slight mod to the CP today. I noticed that it would occasionally barely touch one of the brake lines on the abs unit, causing an annoying rattle. I just tweaked the charge pipe down a bit so that the BPV was not quite so close to the ABS lines. So for anyone else that tries this keep that in mind.
  20. Thanks for the tip. I ran it up to 20PSI last night with no problems, but I will keep an eye on it.
  21. So I spent some time installing the Racer X today. Now I am not going to lie, it was a real tight squeeze. Overall though it fit great. I think the only real mod as opposed to the stock TMIC would be that all of the silicone hoses need to be set at the farthest possible extension. You end up needing to squeeze another 1" out of teh combined hoses. After a few test fits I got it figured out. The BPV fit fine and did not interfere with the ABs at all. It was close though. I fired it up and it ran fine with no vac leaks. I have not driven it yet, too hot. I will test drive it tomorrow, but I think all will be fine. Tuning will begin this week and then we can really see all the possible benefits of teh PW verticooler. Thanks again Minucimms.
  22. Look what showed up today. Thanks Minuccims. Now to see if it fits
  23. Awesome. Thanks for all the info. So nice to have so much knowledge at our fingertips.
