  1. Thanks cww516. I'm about to replace it with LED 3000k (Yellow). I remember when I did the HID conversion for the low beam. It was not fun.
  2. One time maybe twice. I have not drove the vehicle since I brought it home from the shop. I'm going to take it for a spin maybe later on today or over the weekend. No I have not. I just learned something new. Thanks I will check it out again later on today. I still need to set the clock, station preset, maybe window sync, etc. Also my Legacy has the option OEM fog lights on the bottom. I installed it but I can't remember how to get to the bulbs and do you know the size of the bulbs (I think there H11)?
  3. Maryland is one time safety inspection (they check all mounts, steering, leaks, bushing, exhaust, brakes, all bulbs, tires, wheels, glass, etc.). Then every 2 years is SMOG.
  4. We put in the new battery and notice it did it once where the motor turned over (running) and then shut off still in park. The second attempt had no issue what so ever. I'm little stump over this. Wondering if it's the vehicle theft security.
  5. (7) year old factory battery finally called it quits in the 2013 Legacy. Leaving soon to get a battery from one of my friend shop that he order this morning.
  6. This statement is not true (I doubt you ever owned one). I have owned Mercedes for over 14 plus years. I'm on my second one. It is not difficult to work on them or maintained it all you have to worry about is owning a set of Torxs set and sometime special key tool there cheap. OEM parts for Mercedes is not that bad in price if you know where to order it from.
  7. WTF is wrong with me. I just paid off my SUV not to long ago and now I'm already pricing for a 718 GTS 4.0 in manual transmission.
  8. ^ I have to laugh, sorry. I have a 2013 Legacy. I have over 100k with no issue. I kept up on the AWD service (diff) and I already changed out the CVT oil before (I don't trust lifetime)
  9. I can get the WIFI signal on my back patio where my patio furniture are (full signal).
  10. I been working on it half of the day yesterday with Verizon on the call. I moved the router to the Basement because I could not fish the Ethernet cable due to the duct work in the way. Verizon had to reset the server on there end. I had to do a hard reset on my router and disconnect the coax because you can't run both the coax and Ethernet cable on the router. It's all done and I'm now getting 940Mbp. I won't need the extender now.
  11. I have this router the Fios G1100, AC1750 WiFi G-1100 Quantum Gateway Router https://www.verizon.com/about/sites/default/files/fios-qgr-userguide140925.pdf Also on my custom built computer in the basement. I'm running a Asus USB-AC56 USB 3.0 802.11a/b/g/n/ac Wi-Fi Adapter. On the 3rd Floor in my wife office she has (2) laptops (Macbook Pro and HP). She always complaining about the internet.
  12. Laundry room is unfinished that where my box is and the rest is all hard ceiling drywall in the basement and on the main level is wood floors that's where the router is. I have talked to my CIT guys at work. They told me you have 2 options run access point (still required to run hard wire) or it be easier to just run a CAT6 or CAT6A (better choice is the CAT6A) from the box to the router. This is the rout I'm going to take and run CAT6A. My guys gave me about a 100 feet of pull string and they told me how to fish the CAT6A through. I'm going to use the existing Verizon coax cable as my guide to fish the CAT6A through. 100 feet of CAT6A with terminal ends is already on order through Amazon Prime.
  13. I look into that but was going to talk to my CIT (Network/server peeps) at work about it. Right now I'm not getting nowhere close to my 1g network that I'm paying for from Verizon (14.8 Mbps download; 34.3 Mbps upload). Since I have my router on coax cable from the main box. Verizon did not send me a long enough Ethernet cable. I'm putting my house on the market in couple of years. This is why I don't want to purchase and run a 50' Ethernet cable.
  14. My truck that I bought back in mid October is now finally paid off. I need to research for a good extenders to boost my WIFI since I need to relocate my router to the basement since that’s where my box is. I don’t feel like running about 50’ maybe more of Ethernet cable to my router.
  15. To me it's to much fab work and to much money where it's cheaper to throw in a 427, 454, or even a 502 (502 have to remove Air Cond). Then you have to run a ECU/PCM all cable management, etc. Like I said to much money and time effort. I have done full restoration and customize a few cars in my life time. Trust me these muscle car guy's will be like WTH or WTF is this.
  16. I would not call it similar frame. El'Camino use a full frame and the Baja uses a sub frame. There going to be allot of fab work involved. The weight on the El'Camino is very heavy. Not sure if the Subaru boxer will be the ideal motor for it. Even if you can drop the boxer motor in. You know how much room (space) you will have in the El'Camino engine bay compartment? I'm sorry if I got off the wrong foot here. I'm trying to understand why?
  17. Just put a 454 or a 502 in there. My cousin had a El Camino (street/drag car) we put in a 502 glider. My old 76 Nova SS manual trans had a 454 twins chargers
  18. My family all had a bunch of Supra from 70s through 94. I still like the 90 supra for some reason. I do miss the Cressida allot I had a 91 MR2 Turbo but slowly restoring a AE86.
  19. Just got authorized to return to work on Monday. Lucky I did not catch it (wearing PPE). I was in contact with some one that was tested positive at work. my coworker, he is in his 80s was tested negative he is coming back to work on Tuesday. Being isolated away from my family is tough and my health almost took a worst from having a blood disorder and not being active. So my temperature that I had to monitor thru out the day's. It has dropped down to 96.2 few times. I'm now slowly doing some work around the house. To keep my temperature at 97-98 ish. Thank god I have allot of family members that are in the medical fields.
  20. You all be safe. I have to isolate myself in my own basement till the 22nd, just to be safe. Found out yesterday I was in contact with someone last Weds. That was tested positive on Friday. I have been on the phone all day yesterday with CDC, OMS, my federal agency, etc. Just to be safe CDC and OMS saying that I'm on the border line of high risk because I was with that person but all of us had PPE on and also using hand sanitizer allot. The good news is I have till the 22nd staying home and getting paid but the sad part is I'm away from my son
  21. I'm eyeing on the Beretta's 92X Performance. My friend is going to purchase a S&W 12412 M&P 9 M2.0.
  22. I have pretty much the same vehicle. The only thing I dislike is the CVT (This is my first CVT). Overall I got used to it (lack of power) and now it does not bother me anymore. Also I do have to put a quart of oil in about the 3.5-4.0k mile mark. For the CVT trans fluid. I already changed mine out along with the front and rear diff. I have HIDs in mine but did the same exact way turn the wheel and went up thru the fender.
  23. Valve cover gasket, Cam plugs I can agree to it. Headgasket blown at 88,473 that is hard to believe unless you revving the crap out of that motor, dogging it or keeping the oil low or almost dried up. I have a 2013 2.5i Prem Legacy and I have about 100k maybe more. with no leaking issue .
  24. If you can get your hands on the HEPA filters. Those are golden. We use them in our Isolation rooms (Negative pressure). Those ducts travels to a HEPA bank for more filtration. The only way to clean the filters is to replace it with brand new ones. EDIT: I'm now a happy camper just order (2) 3M 6200 and the filters. Out of all places had to order it from Cali. It's better then nothing because I been on the hunt for 2 weeks. Now that's is something off my plate and now I can focus on purchasing a Corsair Plat. XT RGB keyboard this week (looking for a 20% code or higher). I keep finding those 10% codes.
