  1. You can do it. I keep it low boost and see how the trans react to it. Imagine a little T25 mounted in there (sleeper). So how are the STI with the CVT trans?
  2. I became friends with the truck (carrier) driver. He been doing it for over 26 years. I just want to make sure the Legacy will reach to my father in-law in Texas, safe. At least I know it's in good hands. After work I need to head over to the post office so I can send the documents for the Legacy.
  3. The broker came through (Today was a bust). I finally got a carrier locked in for Weds for the Legacy. There coming from Orlando, Florida. It was little more but not much. The Carrier been in business for 12 plus years. I already did a quick detailing on the exterior and clean the engine bay. Maybe later on today I clean the rims.
  4. Went to the shop to pick up the Legacy and next thing I was doing is installing (2) tire rack shelves. I was at the shop since 6:30am and I just walked in my house now (6:20pm). I’m so beat.
  5. I already filled out the vehicle title minus the vehicle mileage and created a bill of sale just in case if Texas require it. I'm about to send it out certified mail tomorrow.
  6. I was getting prices from 1,050 - $1,400. I thought it was to pricey because I had the Subaru shipped from North Miami to D.C. for $600 back in 2014.
  7. I got one for $800 and I already locked in the price there picking it up this Monday. I hope my in-law will put insurance on the vehicle and get temp tags. I'm taking my tags off and cutting the insurance off before it get's loaded onto the carrier.
  8. Researching these carriers reading reviews and on Better Business Bureau. I'm looking to ship the Legacy to Texas from D.C soon after I pick up the Legacy from my friend shop this Saturday. That also remind me I still need to send the vehicle title this week.
  9. Legacy is finally done minus the wheel alignment and then I part way from it. Just a recap: Bodywork and paint (damage on the driver side rear quarter panel and rear door) Detailing Front pads and rotors (2) Front lower control arms (1 ball joint were ripped) Front left wheel bearing (there was to much play) (1) Front knuckle (bolt broke) Wheel Alignment will be done today or tomorrow
  10. Behind the rotor is the sensor and follow the wire to the harness plug there is your connection plug.
  11. WTH, my son is in Pre-K and the school gave him a brand new laptop and laptop bag. No wonder this new generation kids are so spoiled with electronics, lol.
  12. code C0057 is a communication failure between ECM and ABS control module. Replace the ABS sensor and check the wires and harness then clear the code and see if the C0057 come back.
  13. Need to replace the left front knuckle the bolt broke another $200 down the drain. Suppose to get new rotors, brakes and front lower control arms.
  14. My wife went off on the phone with Peloton tech. Me and my son (came home from his first day of school) woke up from our nap on the sofa. All I heard was my wife is comparing there products with an Apple products on surge protection, haha Thanks to my background (Electrical-Mechanical Engineering). I was able to recover my wife Peloton bike touch screen in 15min (blinking white screen) by the way that screen is $400 and you have to send the old one in. Now I need to get a UPS system for the bike. Just to protect it. I should purchase (2) so I can have one on my Custom PC (I only turn it on when needed).
  15. I got the Audiconnect sync with my phone after watching a few YouTube video and I change some password to reflect the Audi PIN number that they sent me over the website.
  16. Air and Cabin Filter, Tag bulbs and I forgot to pull out the trunk Emergency release handle. It took me 10min to figure out why the trunk was not latching. Easy user error on my part, lol. It will be in the shop getting front rotors, pads, fresh brake fluid and lower control arms
  17. Picked up the Legacy from the dealer (inspection, body work and detailing). The chemicals they use for the interior and ducts is so strong I had to wear my mask and drive with the window down. I’m taking it to my friend shop on the weekend. Quick question to replace the rear tag bulbs do I need to remove the trunk lid liner to get to the bulbs?
  18. I just figured it out it was in the settings that I have to change destination view. Also I notice the SIM card was not in all the way. Now I’m trying to sync the myaudi app to the phone. I need to get in touch with my friend over at Audi. They need to verification on there end. The Audiconnect I could not set that up as well.
  19. I drove the vehicle all day yesterday. For god sake I could not figure out the Navi it's stuck to Philly, PA. I tried everything to clear it. I could not get live GPS. Then something on the screen saying it's not enable. Do I need to sync it with my phone or I need a DVD map install?
  20. I don’t think this one has it. I have a dummy vehicle shape on the left side of the screen that shows top view.
  21. I tried to get my wife into a Benz but she wanted a Q3 I even tried to get her a Q5 instead. I was lucky enough to change her mind from the Prem sport to the Prem plus before I signed the bottoms line.
  22. I need to check on the camera. I have not miss with the vehicle yet. My wife been driving it and she still learning the vehicle. I know the 2018 Q5 have it. I have 360 degree (all view even top view) camera on my AMG.
  23. It got inspected from Subaru, Now it's in the body shop then after it's going into the detail shop. It will need the following - Front rotors/pads - Brake fluid was low but need to be change - Lower control arm bushing - Oil change - Air Filter - Cabin Filter Then after that I part ways with the Legacy. I'm donating it to my father in-law because I bought a replacement vehicle. That remind me I need to return the rental vehicle.
