Update on the Audi. I'm going through the Estimate of Record from my Insurance. Replace Aim headlamps (8U941043E) * This don't make sense to me* Repairing the Wire Harness Replace Wire part #000979025EA Replace Wire connectors part #000949940 There is a bunch of Remove and Replace that I have not listed for example, kick panel trim, air cleaner assy, engine cover, lower trim panel, etc. Total Parts cost $590 Labor Cost 10hrs @ $183.88hr Total Cost of Repairs is $2,464.20 Dealer paid for a brand new ECM w/programing under warranty The Audi is still at the dealership. At least there now moving forward. I'm guessing it be ready this week or next week. Other news. Finally my taxes is now filed. Just need to stop at the postal office after work today and pay up on the renewal fee for my business.

Some reading found out these vehicle manufacturers are using soy-based insulation for the wires that are attracted to rodents. I need to find out is this is the case with the Audi.

It's hard for me to believe that a rodent chewed up the wire harness at my home since the vehicle always been driven every day and I don't live in a wooded area. Behind my house is a Electonic toll road. I think the cold, snow and ice made it worst.... I asked myself how long the Audi been sitting at the dealership or at the previous home? Maybe that's where it started? I'm freaking hungry I had to starve myself for couple of days for the procedure. Yesterday I had Pho after my procedure and then late in the day I had Five Guys. Today planning to hit the Korean BBQ with my friend. So, I can fill my tum tum with loads of meat, lol.

Just had a medical procedure. The good news is Audi called my wife while I was at the hospital and said they install the new ECM. It still did not start. Audi traced the engine wire harness and found the wires been chewed up by a rodent. My insurance is paying for the engine harness.

I talked to my friend at Audi (Sales Manager) when I was picking up the loaner over the weekend. He said since there are shortage on the brand new vehicles there force to sell some of the loaners vehicle. To meet demands. This is why there shortage on loaner vehicles and same. for parts. Friend is kind of upset with me since he did not know the Audi been there for 3 weeks. If he knew he could of pushed the service department. The good thing now is I finally got my son other car seat and his other stroller out from our Q3.

Update on the Audi. Finally I think they determined it’s the ECU is dead. So they order a new one from Germany. I’m getting the loaner tomorrow.

I left a another message with the provider yesterday. If I don't hear from him today. I'm showing up on Saturday in person to confront him. This is BS still with no loaner. Another Audi owner at a different location (Hunt Valley Cockeysville, Maryland) is still waiting for a loner he been waiting for a little over a week now. This dealership is about 51miles away from the location where my Audi is at in the Rockville area.

Finally they called my wife. Saying that they need to call the Audi in Germany to get answers since they don’t know what is wrong with the vehicle, lol.

I think it's BS as well. If there out of loaners what about one of the brand new vehicles in the lot or even get me a rental. If I don't hear anything by Friday from the service department. I'm going to talk to my friends that works there in the sales department.

They said they have no more loaners. They were all loaned out. This is for my wife 2018 Audi Q3.

I'm thinking to call up one of my boys at the dealer that are in the sales department and file a complaint on the service department. This is BS. The dealer picked up the vehicle on 1/24 (Monday). They sent out a tow truck. The vehicle won't start. lack of communication on getting through with my service provider. Today is 2/1 (Tuesday). The service provider refuse to talk to me so they called my wife yesterday and said they can't figure out the issue. They told her it's not the motor. Here is the best part I never got a loaner. They said there all out on loaner. Right now I'm driving my father MDX while my wife drive the Benz, due to my son car seat. The vehicle has a push/start it's a 2018 CPO with under 36k miles under warranty. I have checked the vehicle battery, key-fob and I ran one of my scanners on it and got U0101 Loss communication with TCM. I bet they have not checked the TCM, ECU and the Can-Bus Network. Sorry I'm so upset with them right now. I'm thinking to make a surprise visit on Friday after work.

MDX is now fixed it was the Shift Lever switch and (1) burnt gear bulb. This Saturday I be working on the 1up. Hopefully I can resolve the crashing issue. Other news is finally got my home built PC working correctly. It took me months to figure it out due to DistributedCOM Event 10016. Figuring it was a hardware issue and or Battery (Power) issue but it was a setting in the software itself.

My Father MDX is driving me crazy. I replace the Neutral switch and did not fix it. I have a shift select lever switch coming today. He can be in R or D but D1 is always lit (2 lights stay on the cluster for the gear shift). Also I crashed the 1up arcade machine. The rasp pi is hacked, swap out the joysticks and buttons and got all the retro games on it. Once we transfer every thing to the cabinet. it boot up and got maybe 30 seconds into the game and it crash. I think the resolution of the screen or frequency is to much for the 1up LCD screen. We tested everything on a OLED 55" screen and was working.

WTF, our shop supplier hardly have any parts in stock anymore. I was looking for OEM transmission oil pan bolts. $4 a bolt x 6 = $24 then I have to do 2 day shipping because I have the lift reserved for next week. It was like $46ish in total. Oh well I need it ASAP. I found out the OEM bolts can't be reused. Parts are getting much harder to get.

I use to listen to that channel and the Elvis channel when I had free subscription for few years. Previous owner bought a subscription and never cancel it when he traded the vehicle into the dealership. I'm thinking about getting the subscription but I like to have it on both my vehicle (already equipped with Sirius XM from the factory) and pay for one vehicle if this even possible.

I'm using a verity since I been in the CCTV field before. I'm using Ring and Siemens (I use to work for Siemens in CCTV/Fire). Now Ring has these solar smart path lights that I'm thinking about ordering some. Those home alarm company be careful, some or most of these installers are the one that will be breaking into your homes. They know the system in/out. If you want true security install the camera's yourself that way most of these people don't know the location of the camera's, motion senor. If they not looking for it or don't know what there looking for.

Had a talk with my wife when I got home from work yesterday. She want's me to add more camera's for the outside. I agree to it so time to start shopping. I told my neighbor so there now been alerted.

I'm here at work watching all my outside CCTV like a hawk. Motion sensor alerted me at 4:50am today and captured a person at my front door wearing a hoodie. Woke up my wife and told her to open up the gun safe and just be ready. Let's hope she does not have to use it since our 3 year old is sleeping in his room.

The driver is the owner and his wife deals with the appointments, papers, etc. I feel better now. I filed the complaint to DOT, BBB and FMCSA. I was reading a review and the same driver dropped a vehicle off on the Highway and left it 2 miles out from the owner new house that he moved from Maryland to Texas (relocating due to Military duties).

I know there trying to avoid taxes. This is very bad business practice. I'm reporting it. I have there address, names, DOT number and MC number and even the driver EIN number. I may just get my cousin's involve since there attorney's. Trying to take advantage of my father in-law that does not speak English could of charged him allot more on what I have locked in the contract. This is why I requested and had it put in my contract for a wire transfer. I was being nice so my father in-law does not have to pay for anything. I was told my father in-law got the insurance on the vehicle yesterday. I hope he takes care of the title and registration and mail in my tags today. By middle of next week. I'm cutting the insurance off on my policy on the Legacy. There is no point and I already have 2 other vehicle on my policy.

The best part after the vehicle arrived they wanted cash in hands but in my contract it said wire transfer. So much arguments. I called the broker and it was in my contract. The broker had to get involved. Now the owner of the Carrier apologies. What a crooked system.

The pressure from my wife (father in-law is getting upset and putting the pressure on my wife). My god he is getting a FREE vehicle (I paid for everything). The driver just text me and said it will arrive in 1 hour. I understand his frustration. The vehicle suppose to be deliver since yesterday. Oh well soon I need to transfer the money to the driver. All I ask for him to transfer the title to his name and get Texas plates and send me my plates back so I can cut the insurance off and return my plates back.

1983 they came in a 5.7L Diesel (571 was built). In 1984 they also came with the LF9 Diesel (98 was built). I know they swap out the 305 for the 6.2L Diesel. My cousin had a 70's one back in the day with a 502 in it.

Legacy is on it's way to Texas. Left two days ago. I just sent the paperwork in for the vehicle yesterday. My father in-law should received the paperwork this Monday and the vehicle should arrive on Tuesday.

He had it imported here in the US. He said it was a limited production made and said something about A4 or was it S4. I can’t remember.
