  1. I've been curious about the Feal "max travel" coilovers. They don't show up on their web page but I've had some conversations with them and they do make a Legacy/OB application. http://feal-suspension6.mybigcommerce.com/coilovers-max-travel-441/?sort=featured&page=1

Here are the non max-travel 441’s, http://feal-suspension6.mybigcommerce.com/feal-441-coilovers-05-09-subaru-outback-xt/, no mention of how much lower than stock they are.

  2. I’m fairly sure it was the original one swapped over to my new motor so 147k total on it. It was getting to the point where starts were intermittent. This morning it didn’t start so I attempted to roll start it in the driveway and ran out of hill so I reset the ECU and it started up.

Also, I’ve been driving my dad’s Model S for the last couple of weeks and transitioning back to my car has been interesting. You definitely can’t zip around with an EWG like you can in the Tesla...people get mad.

  3. Here's an update on swapping the projectors/shields in the facelift JDM lights: it's really easy. How much difference it actually makes idk cuz I never mounted them in the car before swapping projectors, but the light pattern looks fine. I do need to adjust the angle a little tho because the passenger's side light is aimed too low, and the driver's side is about right.

Did you take any pics or is it that intuitive?

  4. It was warmer this time at the dyno so the numbers would be higher under cooler conditions but it worked out perfectly...402whp!

Previous numbers were 380whp/360tq. New numbers are 402whp/358tq.

Now the ‘S402’ badging on the grille, which freaks out the purist, actually means something and I’m seriously thinking about throwing the ‘S402’ badge that I have on the back.

  5. they look dope. difficult to install?

Dont really feel like pulling the mirrors off the car after fresh paint...

Thanks! You need to remove the painted mirror caps which feels super sketchy but you can help remove the tabs from the inside if you remove the mirror first. After that, install is easy.

Installing the Prova mirror covers as the actual mirror with the heated element on the back was a lot harder!
