  1. Have a look through OpposedForces.com for partnumbers. eg,Rear bumper Part #2 in your picture
  2. Try RHDJapan/bidJDM, someone somewhat local picked up a set of metallic silver Prodrive GC-010E in 18x8.0 +43 from them.
  3. Airboy is still tuning, I think he'll do a remote tune as well, but best bet to call and ask, https://www.airboytuning.com/
  4. Been trying to get the upstream O2 sensor off, but it's not budging. Have been applying liberal squirts of PB over the past week, used a MAP torch on the exhaust and a can of PC parts cleaner held upside down on the sensor try to get that temperature differential but it's not moving. Meanwhile, I drove downtown ~40km return and burned up a third of a tank of gas.. so much for camping planned for this weekend with the kid. May end up renting a car.
  5. Been running with a full size spare for winter and summer, I'll rotate one out mid season, usually to the front because I think the fronts wear slightly faster.. Even when all was said and done the one will have less wear than the others but it's definitely not "new" condition. That, and hoping I don't have to drive too far on it when needed. It's mostly there to get me home until a tire gets fixed. One nasty winter I was told I had to wait 6 hours for a tow (and that was with AMA roadside assistance) so I drove to McDicks and enjoyed a coffee while I waited (and my kid had open access to anything she wanted from their menu). Thanks for linking the guides.. I already have a DAMD wheel for 05, if I remember right the 05 wheel profile and the one with radio controls is slightly different so I don't think I'll be doing that mod.
  6. What do people usually do with the front heat shield when it's rusted to the point of flapping around? I went to spray some PB on the upstream O2 sensor and the heat shield is loose there..
  7. Nice.. you have steering wheel controls and an 05? Was it from this Walkthrough? https://legacygt.com/forums/showthread.php/install-steering-wheel-radio-controls-26232.html
  8. I replaced the replacement camp (the replacement was from used loaner from a friend that doesn't have the P0447) with a new one from the stealership and the P0447 went away. I now have a P0031, O2 sensor heating element low voltage
  9. That's a great idea, putting down the back rest. Right now I've just removed the headrest so she can look out front.
  10. Yeah I was thinking about that for only road trips, since I'll be the only driver and she'll be in the passenger side back seat. When I get back to town I'll put the passenger seat back in. Sounds like more trouble than it's worth.
  11. If I removed the passenger seat altogether will the system complain because the sensors are all disconnected? Thinking of buying a Planted seat mount to replace the passenger seat with a cooler mount for road tripping with my kid.
  12. I'm not sure I understand what you're suggesting - probably best I take it to a shop. I'm more adept at mechanical work but my electrical skills need work.
  13. Awesome, thanks for the writeup! When some friends and I did the clutch we had to yank out the transmission side of the axle and something was damaged so it was leaking fluid (I don't recall the exact part number) but I had to order another from the dealership Subaru. Is that the trans housing seals you're referring to?
  14. I see all these people swapping out their front LCA's.. as a noob tackling this, what's my success rate to get it done over a weekend? I don't have a second vehicle (sold my S2000) anymore. It's something I need to get done, along with my front passenger axle and we're all "isolating" up here..
  15. Yeah last time my car was in for the other airbag the gouged the crap out of the clear instrument cluster. I insisted that they replace it.
  16. Has anyone attempted a DIY smoke test on their Legacy? My CEL comes on randomly and goes away at odd times (after a complete fill up, or when the tank is about to empty, sometimes when I'm on the freeway) but every time it's a P0447: P0447 - Evaporative emission control system vent control low input My stealership wants $90 to pull the code (I already know what it is, and they want to do it again) and $160 to do a smoke test which is bloody highway robbery. So my friend linked some Amazon smoke testers but I just saw the Youtube video where a guy made one from a pasta sauce jar, a soldering iron and a bike pump. I've replaced the gas cap and also I have a charcoal box I got from a junkyard that I haven't swapped in yet... but I'm wondering how accurate a DIY smoke test would be compared to taking it into the stealership...
  17. I have Whiteline adjustable endlinks, they've faired well. Little bit of corrosion on them but they've also been on the car for almost 12 years now. Here in Edmonton they used calcium chloride for the past two years and my undercarriage went from "looking worn for a 17 year old car" to "holy shit it's rusty under here."
  18. I found my old Tactrix OpenPort 2.0 RevC, but I don't recall where to plug everything in. Looks like this, https://cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/1893/9911/products/tactrix-openport-with-all-adapters_1024x1024.jpg
  19. Damn.. 1k.. I "sold" mine to an automotive recycler for $300CDN in the fall. Feeling like I got ripped off now.. Held onto it for all these years too.
  20. Where can I find out more about this? > extended fiberglass one
  21. Those that went with new aluminum LCAs from Rock Auto, what else is required when changing to them? I saw mention of p/n 202216FA000: I googled to see where that would go and came up empty. Anyone have a little more info?
