  1. Yeah, well only shop in town.. all the dealers and body shops use them and they get priority, so the consumer is left to the end. You'd think wheel repair isn't that complicated or I'd start my own.... hrmm..
  2. Yeah, there's only one shop here that fixes them and I wouldn't trust them. I called them this morning and I'm looking at end of July before I can get in with them anyways..
  3. I blew a tire this morning, bending a rim in the process.. Now looking for a single BBS wheel, in 5x100.. not drilled 5x100. Anyone have one up for sale? has to be straight.
  4. Thanks guys.. I've heard that Partsource (owned by Canadian Tire) are crap, but on my wife's non-turbo Impreza some people here say they should be fine. The local rally guys recommend Raxle.com, but they're pricier - and my wife doesn't bag her car either.. I'll see if NAPA or Mopac has something better. Kingfisher - thanks, where'bouts are you? Born and raised here, left for a dozen years in Calgary but came back here after getting hitched, n'stuff.
  5. Good writeup. The rear bits on wifey's car is all wrecked (04 2.5ts) - I'll be replacing this soon.
  6. Won't do me any good, but thanks.. Calling SoC tomorrow.
  7. So my fans are running again, I call the Subaru dealer where I'm living now to check on this again. Looks like my relay was never changed to the new one, part number is RC-5103. I understand the new one should be -5101. If it was replaced, it was replaced with the same faulty one. Now the dealer I'm working with doesn't want to have anything to do with fixing the recall screwup.

  9. Swapped springs tonight, put in my ION progressive fronts and HD rears, with a 3/8" tophat. Looks a bit high out back.. One big problem though, is that both Geo Metro studs in the pass rear side spins loosely when the upper nut is tightened. So failing finding a secure option, can I try JB Weld to "stick" the studs to the tophat, or find some M10-1.25 nuts and bolts to secure the works together? Thanks!
  10. I think he means "install." Sorta helps to be clear here 'cos not everyone talks funny like you do.
  11. Best stock seats I've ever sat in were a late model Volvo V70R wagon. +1 05 GT!
  12. Thanks, was just a little frustrated by the lack of silvers up here.. might end up getting a set in gold and having them refinished.
  13. I think I've pretty much given up trying to find a set of these... What is a close, reasonable facsimile? ;(
  14. Yup, just got mine in the mail today too (Canada).
  15. Seems my dealer isn't aware of the problem.. are there any Canadian owners that have had this work done under the recall?
  16. I had my headlights 3M'd.. I would assume the high temperature would melt the 3M coating if I wanted to do this now?
  17. Wow, you're a noob! Kidding aside, you don't need iTunes - I've got over 1800 songs on my iPod, never used iTunes to install any of it. I ripped my own collectio onto MP3 format and uploaded them all using Ephpod, a free piece of software. Later on I paid for Anapod Explorer 'cos it rocks!
  18. Heh, gotcha. Canada Post left Jazzy's box between my screen door and my main wooden door. I found it when I got home after work. Good luck with your install!
  19. No problems at all with getting this delivered into (Calgary) Canada. I ordered mine shortly before Christmas, and it was delivered about a week later. Other than the original paypal charge which I originally paid to Jazzy, there were no other extra charges over and above. Why UPS, sebberry? Mine was shipped via USPS.. no duty, customs, or any of that handling fees.. If I remember right, I bought a Radio Shack (aka The Source) GLI for $19.99, an R/L RCA-Micro cable for $9.99, and a pair of F-F RCA converters for about $4.99.. then add GST and all that on top.
  20. For anyone who is wondering, this aux-in mod does indeed work for Canadian LGT's. I put mine in today, the only thing I messed up on was that I pulled the connector on the antenna a little too hard and the wire came out of its connecter. I'll use one of those electrical twisties to rejoin the wires when I get back home... Thanks Jazzy for the wonderful piece of electrical doo-dad! Claw.
  21. Race..? Oh.. that, I'm up visiting parents this week.. maybe you'll get yours in first!
  22. Received mine in the mail today, Jazzy. I'll be putting it on in the next few days. Will let you know how well it goes on a Canadian LGT.
  23. Any Canadians bought and have this mod mounted and tested?
