Subiefest was fun, even if my car didnt make it.

Spoke with Lance in person at Subiefest today, he echoed what others at Cobb have told me. It is actively in development for 05-07 and although an official release hasn't been announced he was confident it will happen before year end.

Balljoint decided it wanted to be free range balljoint. Got it bandaged up and limped it back to my shop. No serious damage, just need to drill out the pinch bolt, get my axle popped back in, and top up the trans fluid.

No Subiefest 4 me.

Trying to get my car wrapped up for Subiefest this weekend, and a track day at Blackhawk Farms next Wednesday. Got to do a bit of sanding and polishing on these drag cars before the weekend too. About 1500whp between the two!

I like the gold over silver, but... I think I need my Advan TC4s to get here.

Tackled the MBC yesterday too. If you're going to upgrade the master, you have to do the booster too as well as add a check valve to the vacuum line going to the booster. Painted the booster the same color as my intake manifold before putting it in. Decided to hold off on the strut mounts for now, since it'll be on jacks for a few days yet and maybe my coilovers will show up in that timeframe.

Putting on the Whiteline swaybars today and Mishimoto upper coolant tank. Debating if I want to put on the Whiteline ComC strut mounts on my Bilsteins now, or just wait until the KW V2s arrive (whenever that might be).

New hardlines for the rear brakes arrived, now just need to get my calipers back from powder coating to wrap up the brake project. STi rad cap showed up too. Now need to get the hoopties out of my shop so I can finish up my wagon for Subiefest.

Just dont quote me. I need to order 1300s myself, but haven't yet since there isn't an immediate release date.

After I made that post I decided to bug Marshall at Cobb about it, he said the same. It is actively in development and should be available on the market this fall. I can't wait to blow up my car with E85!

IAG AOS install wrapped up, and took off the ABS module to paint it the same hammered gunmetal metallic as my intake manifold. Really digging how tidy of a stock location setup this is. Gonna clean up some brackets and replace all the silver couplers with black ones next...

Whiteline front/rear swaybar kit ordered, with AVO swaybar mount reinforcements, Mishimoto upper coolant tank, STi 1.3 bar radiator cap, Whiteline Com C front strut mounts, new OEM rear strut mounts, and dropped my calipers off for refinishing and rebuilding...

Looking at SSR GTV03 or Advan RZ-II. Will be having my calipers refinished in silver with blue Brembo logos.

Its tough, I work with a lot of savvy car collectors and flippers that buy cars, enjoy them for a year or two, and then sell them for profit (sometimes significant profit). I'm over here just lighting piles of money on fire because eventually maybe five guys at a Subaru meet will think my car is kind of cool. Current dilemma, SSRs or Advans?

Oh yeah, and got new RE71R tires mounted (245/40/17) and ARP extended studs. Might try to stop the financial hemorrhaging and put some money aside for an engine build so I'll be ready if Cobb ever actually puts out flex fuel support...

Finally doing stuff with this car again. Was really indecisive about going further and dumping more money into it, or cutting my loss and getting a car thats less financially depressing. Decided to keep on keeping on. Installed a Koyo rad over the weekend, along with an STi brake booster/MBC, Stoptech braided lines, Hawk HP+ pads, Motul RBF600 fluid, GrimmSpeed microbattery mount, Antigravity ATX20 battery, Whiteline bumpsteer kit, Whiteline street ALK, fixed my AC, replaced my clock spring, installed AEM boost/oil pressure gauges to replace the shitty Prosport gauges. Decided against the dual Radium catch cans and ordered an IAG AOS instead, which I'll install next week if I can find room in the engine bay lol. Also ordered a set of KW Variant 2s, so hopefully once Germany stops rioting from their soccer game they will ship those out.
