  1. Location: Milwaukee, WI Price: $75obo plus shipping I have a set of mirrors I took as a trade a long time ago. I don't know much about them. They are poorly plasti dipped and appear to be an OEM black color underneath. They are OEM Subaru mirrors. They might be JDM with the clear lenses, but I can't confirm that. I've never used them before but they appear to be power and heated, all the wiring is there and complete. I'm willing to bet they'd clean up pretty well. Make an offer on these, they need a new home.
  2. This kind of an old thread but has good info about the MC/BB swap. https://legacygt.com/forums/showthread.php/sti-master-brake-cylinder-swap-qs-132077p2.html You should be able to buy the MC and BB together. You also need to swap the check valve in the vacuum hose.
  3. Make sure you do the STI MC/Booster at the same time. A lot of the pedal feel is coming from the MC. They're cheap too. You should be able to source a used one for like $75 on ebay. If you buy used calipers, make sure the bleeder screws aren't stripped. Helicoiling the mounting bolts is pretty straightforward but you don't want to deal with stripped bleeders.
  4. I've had an OEM UP fail at the flex joint, it's under the heat shield. It came out in two pieces when I removed it.
  5. Sorry no, I really just have these wagon panels left from my interior swap a decade ago, haha.
  6. If you have a car that sits outside a lot, it's worth it. It wouldn't make sense to cover and uncover it every day. I only put the cover on after a fresh wash. Just make sure that you buy a cover specifically designed for your car.
  7. Nothing too exciting here. Swapped to the summers and washed the car. For better or worse, this car cover has been a good investment. I need a front end rebuild but wondering how far I take it. The wife approved a garage build, that's really where the focus ($$) is right now.
  8. I've went through a couple different OEM STi UP's, they also crack at the flex after a while, probably in this same 7 year range. Maybe I'll try a Grimmspeed next time around.
  9. I have a catted DP, Perrin Mid/Y and the stock cans. I do have a cut out right in the Y though. It's pretty quiet with the cut-out closed, near stock levels from the cabin, which is great for long trips or trying to sneak through the neighborhood. On the other hand, it's comically aggressive with the cut out all the way open. For me and having a wagon, stock cans are the way to go.
  10. The STi booster/MC swap is the best bang for the buck mod for a LGT, you'll love it.
  11. Thank you! I've always tried to keep it simple, anything more and I've ended up back with OEM parts.
  12. My cut out is pretty rowdy. Very glad that is so quiet when it’s closed.
  13. My wagon is starting to show its age but overall it still looks pretty good.
  14. I can echo the same thing for the brake line recall. The dealer will probably deny the recall but just start blowing up SOA until they agree to replace the brake lines.
  15. Mine are all original too. 16 years, 182k miles. I have a spare set I keep in the spare tire well for situations like you’re describing but I’ve never had any issues with mine.
  16. I do love my wagon, it is deceivingly small though. Everyone thinks the wagon has so much space until you try fitting 4 adults in a 4th gen, there's really not that much passenger room in the car. Cars are just getting bigger though. My 88' Silverado single cab long bed looks like a mini truck compared to a new one.
  17. I was actually going to suggest that your downpipe may be rattling on the brace.
  18. My 5MT did not sound like that but 2nd gear in my 6MT does. Is this every gear for you? I wouldn't worry about it too much, especially since you don't DD the car.
