  1. I believe he's referring to how the s402 honeycomb cells have angles that keep them parallel to the ground despite the grill insert being at an angle. Standard honeycomb cells in the material you've found or the Crown Vic will be perpendicular to the angle it's installed.
  2. I'll get to updating the list soon - my apologies but you won't be missed. It's a shame I can't update the first post. I have the doc on another computer and will try and update the Google map I made as well. Best looking... I'm torn. If I could have any spec.B made it would be a JDM post facelift in white The front clip is pure sex. Although if you could import that, might as well go full blown and get the s402
  3. I'm looking forward to this! No worries on the increase in price, if this comes out like your standard style mesh grill it will be worth every penny!
  4. yes - there are pictures of them in this section - even a thread dedicated to it if I recall.
  5. OEM grill is off, emblem removed, and boxed up. I'll shoot you tracking tomorrow.
  6. While that may be difficult to reproduce that is the best looking grill for the 4th gen hands down!
  7. Sounds good - I'll be pulling my OEM tonight and get it out via FedEx tomorrow!
  8. Plastic would be fine. I understand in regards to whether or not it's a flat surface or convex. If you find some options let's discuss. I'm not opposed to it being flat (although closer to the front edge of the grill than the standard mesh you did - similar to the picture referenced). If a mold and some heat allowed to bow it a bit that would be great. I know that some guys use the Crown Vic honeycomb for DIY grills (has a spot for the emblem as well) and that may be a viable material to use. Seeing your craftsmanship and attention to detail, I trust in your judgement of what will work best, and will compensate you for your time and material needs. Happy to help promote your homebrew vendor status as well with plenty of pictures installed
  9. I'm thinking something like this (minus the gawdy badge)... I'll probably get an 08+ front subaru emblem to put on it. http://www.ravspeconline.com/images/blacktopaero/lgtjdm/lgt-759.jpg
  10. I'm partial to my Volk CE28N 17s that have 10 spokes and weigh less than 13.5 lbs each http://i303.photobucket.com/albums/nn146/jaymmmbee/LGTspecB/8d90ce03.jpg
  11. Sounds good - if there's a bit more cost involved for different materials and/or time let me know. OEM should be headed out tomorrow.
  12. Payment sent and I'll be shipping you my OEM as discussed. Thanks!
  13. It must be the angle of that last shot you took - but it looked JDM since it didn't seem to protrude out as far from the trunk in that pic. Mine seems to extend a mile from the trunk compared to JDM I have been talking to Lu @ HKC about sourcing a JDM rear bumper for mine
  14. If screamin is ready to buy now, it definitely sounds like he needs it more than I do. I will pull my OEM, switch to my summer CF grill, and have you do your magic on mine which will be a great winter alternative grill to my CF one.
  15. I'm totally willing to wait (no rush and I sent him a note I'd mail him my OEM for the next project). This will become a winter grill for me and I'm close to putting my CF one on for the spring/summer. I just think he puts in the effort it takes for a quality piece and want one!
  16. I saw you snagged that setup! Brand new even... if I were local I'd have had a bidding war with you I still think I'm going nameless performance for my CBE. The dual tips look proper with that JDM bumper!
  17. Just want to give another shout out to Dave... while troubleshooting a seriously frustrating issue for quite some time he was always there to assist on the tuning side, reviewing logs, doing research and offering input. He shows a genuine interest in his customers and their cars, and that's rare these days. Proud to be CryoTuned!
  18. ^ that. No 06 spec.B cars came with a trunk badge that was any different than an LGT. The small shifter bezel plaque is the only thing that says spec.B on the car from Subaru.
  19. After all the fitment and other issues they had with the last GB, I highly doubt Mike will want involvement in another Stromung deal. I've participated in Mike's other GBs, and I can assure you they typically are extremely smooth. My money will go to another exhaust company that doesn't leave our members and vendors high and dry with improper fitting stuff.
  20. Looking good! Here's a couple I took to show off some CryoTune Performance love... http://i303.photobucket.com/albums/nn146/jaymmmbee/LGTspecB/Stage2/IMG_0092_zps370127e4.jpg http://i303.photobucket.com/albums/nn146/jaymmmbee/LGTspecB/Stage2/IMG_0094_zps6273af2f.jpg
  21. Catless DP should still have an o2 sensor bung. ECU needs that reading. Catless does not equal sensorless. EGT sensor is pointless with no cat to monitor in the UP location.
