  1. Nice. I'm leaning towards the 8500 with the HDMI, SD, and removable face. Both have the 3 sets of 4V pre-outs (another reason the AppRadio sucks is lower voltage preamps). I'm an iPhone 5 user, and the cable is out for me to integrate with this unit now. I'm overdue for a stereo upgrade and I think the 8500 is going to be the best option along with the JDM kit. I may get the Pioneer backup camera down the road but right now it's just not a priority. This should work quite well with my 6 channel McIntosh amp
  2. @Shane86 - how do you like your Pioneer AVH-X5500BHS? I'm looking at that or the AVH-X8500BHS.
  3. Welcome to the new owners. I'll get the list updated soon.
  4. mmmm BBQ It would only be 1700 miles for me to come along
  5. Great to see the progress and tune results Sigma! Long live the TMIC!
  6. Me too! I'm remaining patient and know he's making the right choices for quality, and he's a stickler for details like me, which bodes well for the outcome!
  7. It's good to be first. I'm looking forward to the end results - I know his attention to detail and craftsmanship are worth the wait from seeing earlier projects.
  8. Sounds good and I'll pay whatever the emblem cost shipped and difference for additional materials etc. Looking forward to seeing the finished goods
  9. Agreed. I'm partial to Chaplin's (subarugenuineparts.com). Jamie there is awesome - I know 12sechatch will agree. My local Subaru dealership sucks so all my little OEM replacements come from Chaplin's.
  10. Thanks. That's similar to the 93OCT in the states - unfortunately here in my state best we get is ethanol free 92OCT. That will be winter fuel and E85 in the summer. Pretty sure a BNR 16G will be in my future. Just getting a clutch done now and then I'll accumulate the last of my supporting mods (DW 850CC injectors, WBO2 and boost gauge, replacement turbo inlet, and I want a CBE).
  11. Price looks right. Subaru Genuine Parts has it for like $45 for an 08 Legacy front emblem (non Outback). #5 Emblem, Emblem ORNAMENT F SIX - Legacy List Price : $61.52 Your Price : $45.03
  12. Can't wait to see! Should I order the emblem, or would you like to attach one and I can pay your cost for the 08 emblem?
  13. Thanks for posting that info. Really close to the mods I'll be running if I go 16G (still torn between that or avoiding the "need more power" urge to get the 68HTA). I'll be doing 850cc injectors though and E85 during the summer. Curious as to what fuel you are tuned for?
  14. Will the smaller 05-07 emblem be large enough or do you think we will need the 08+ (larger)?
  15. I've had those for over a year, and we don't get salt, but plenty of snow and ice melt agent on the roads in the winter. No rust for me. Much better look vs. the RAs IMHO.
  16. OEM NAV uses a DVD drive under the driver's seat.
  17. Here's a good set of pictures with some other angles for viewing the JDM style honeycomb grill... http://legacygt.com/forums/showpost.php?p=2185335&postcount=26
  18. If you come across a Rev A/C rear bumper I want it without a doubt! If we are able to make the front happen I may need help sourcing a JDM grill (preferably a honeycomb style).
  19. I may be. Interested in what shipping would be to OR 97756 business (loading dock). If these were rear bumpers I'd pre buy.
  20. Umm... can you not look a few posts above (#844 was the last update), and see that both of you are on the list? I added you quite a while ago There's only a few additions I haven't made recently. I didn't start this thread and can't modify the first post so I've been posting an updated list when time permits (and even created a Google map with pins for locations).
  21. I understood that regarding the Konis - just wasn't sure if Swifts would seat correctly or not since they are typically paired with Bilsteins/spec.B tops. Thanks!
  22. Did you have to use the spec.B tophats with the Swift springs on those Konis?
