  1. I've used both and they are both plug & play. FYI - I have a DW65 just about brand new which has passed DW inspection + new O-rings which I'd be willing to sell. PM me if interested
  2. I've been using Bully (located in Ottawa) for a long time and never had any issues. I also have a VF52 with supporting mods pushing 282WHP, Bully Stage 3 clutch with Exedy LWFW....nice pedal feel and tones of clamping! Great customer service and they also refurbish their clutches saving you $$$.
  3. If turbo is good, vacuum lines are good with no leak, I would definitely check fuel pressure....I've scratch my head a lot before realizing the issue was related to a pressure leak with the new fuel pump (o-ring not seated properly). Good luck!
  4. Any idea if this also affects the Canadian market ?
  5. Are you AFR looking good...are you running lean ? If its the original fuel pump and filter based on the mileage you might be due to change them....if you can't yourself, have the fuel pressure checked. If everything looks good, move on to the other stuff...a smoke/leak test would also be recommended.
  6. For the FPR test I recall the FSM saying to unplug the vacuum hose to see if there is a spike in psi. If you do a little searching here you should be able to find a link to download the fsm. If not, send me a PM with your email and I'll send you a copy Good luck!
  7. Yea, Not sure why your AP isn't displaying the data in real time like your log....that would definitely concern me. If it persists, contact COBB. If you work at a Subaru dealer, you must surely have a kit to test your fuel pressure and FPR....if you do, as awfulwaffle said....start with testing the pressure and go from there. I'm also assuming your putting in 91 octane or more when fueling the car?
  8. Hey gang! My bro just purchased a 2012 Outback 3.6R and wondering if there are any known issues or general things he needs to look out for? Thanks,
  9. I'm no expert at this but in looking at your log your AFR are way too high while in boost....at 14-16 psi your showing 13-14 AFR fuel correction is also high and your DAM at 0.5 and 0.75 is NOT GOOD !! When you switch to sport sharp seemed to have helped a little bringing your DAM back up to 1 where it needs to be. Is this a stock set up? What's been done to the car, has the fuel pump and/or filter been changed recently? With some of the issues I've gone through in the past year I'm inclined to say there's a fueling issue but again I'm no expert at this.
  10. Does it also occur in neutral/park while revving the engine ? AFR look good?
  11. Hey gang! My bro just purchased a 2012 Outback 3.6R and wondering if there are any known issues or general things he needs to look out for? Thanks,
  12. I installed an in line fuel pressure gauge, relatively cheap and easy set up....saved me some headaches. If you do that, maybe get a 0-60 psi gauge for more accuracy...I got 0-100 and kind of regret it. With that kind of millage, maybe the fuel filter is clogged up causing some restriction....worth looking into changing but not an easy job believe me. You might want professionals to handle that.
  13. So quick update (in case someone searches in the future) Turns out the person who had performed my engine swap last year ended up putting too much grease when installing the clutch (I have a TSK3 kit). Grease got on the clutch and "cooked" to the pressure plate once the car was parked and cooled down preventing me to engage/disengage. Also turns out my flywheel wasn't good either....possibly badly machined last year or the ACT/Bully is just not a good combination (Always thought the pedal was too low....so this explained a lot). So kind of a "good news" story but definitely an expensive one!!! Waiting on the new flywheel (Exedy LWSM) and refurbished clutch/pressure plate...going back to stock with OEM TOB as well. Fingers crossed the install goes well and I can start enjoying my car again....its been too long!!!
  14. Hey gang, Someone local is looking for a muffler for his 07' Legacy 2.5i.....wondering if mufflers from my 05' GT would fit? I checked Subaruparts.com and the SKU# are different, any feedback would be appreciated. Thanks!
  15. For your power goals and set up the VF52 can easily get you there and then some....there's a nice one on the market place right now for sale
  16. Thanks gang, I'm also leaning towards the clutch being stuck to the flywheel....My clutch was changed 4-5 yrs ago (maybe more), put a Stage II Bully kit and I have an ACT flywheel, I've always wondered if they we're really compatible or not. At this point no choice to take things apart and see what's going on.....I'm foreseeing a new clutch kit in the up coming expenses. Should I go with an ACT clutch kit to make sure everything is the same company ? I also had the flywheel machined last summer when I swap engines....its a lightweight flywheel, how many times can I have it machined? Thanks,
  17. Hey gang, Something weird has happened after trying to do a few Launch control attempts friday night for the 1st time. Must admit I had a hard time taking off with Launch Control: - 1st pull was set at 4000rpm, almost stalled as I pretty much "dumped" the clutch - 2nd pull was set at 4200rpm, tried taking off by slipping the clutch and still didn't go very well....smell of burnt clutch soon after. - 3rd pull was set at about 5000rpm and same results as previous, so I pretty much gave up. I drove slowly back home to let things cool (5-10min), smell of clutch in the car still present and shifting gears was a little "rough" but nothing seemed abnormal....to me anyway. Car sat in the driveway until yesterday, needed to go out so I started the car remotely and let it idle couple minutes. Got in the car to find out it will not go into gear while running....however when I turned the car off it does go into each gear. So I tried starting the car while in gear and the car wants to take off as if the clutch won't disengage and the pedal is to the floor. Clutch fluid is good, fork seems to move when pushing the pedal. I Never experienced this before, wondering what the issue could be....any ideas, is it possible the TOB is seized? Thanks,
  18. Ok thanks, I'll inquire with the tuner or perhaps COBB to be sure. In the event I would need to convert using a spreadsheet, would you be able to help with the formula? Thanks again!
  19. Hey gang, Resurrecting my question, got the gauge and about to receive my POD in the next few days. In the owner's manual it say's "The default analog output (Yellow wire) is configured as follows: 0V = 7.35 AFR and 5V = 22.39 AFR" I'll be getting my car tuned, based on the above info will the tuner be able to program the TGV signal to read AFR with the COBB tuning software or is there a specific formula that will need to be entered? Thanks,
  20. I recently ordered the MTX-L and have a COBB AP.....ideally I'd like to be able to log from 1 device/source to keep things in sync. Is it possible to do this using the AP and if so, I'm guessing I would need someone with the tuning software? Thanks,
  21. Very Nice!! I'm in the Montreal area if ever you're looking for a car to test this on....LOL
