  1. hi all, as the title mentions in searching for front axles for my 04 JDM GTB with a 5mt. The parts fiche specifies • 28321AG020. I wonder if a compatible axle was used on USDM Legacies or another USDM suby so I can request one from my local dealer. If be grateful if someone could help me out. I also need brake pads, are they the same as the USDM lgt's? Thanks in advance.
  2. Just had a similar issue when I replaced my fuel pump. Car wouldn't start with the new pump. Nothing was coming from the tank outlet. I am occasionally stupid and hadn't replaced one of the o-rings in the fuel pump bucket so it was just blasting fuel back into the tank. No CEL. Hopefully it's something that simple.
  3. Has anyone put in a DW200? How does it fit? If you had to modify the bucket, what did you change, how did you do it? Trying to gather as much info as I can before I tear into the car and wreck something:lol:. Thanks in advance!
  4. You definitely need premium. What's the highest you can get where you live? As for the CV boot, as another poster mentioned, listen for noises. Clicking and grating will be indicative of a bad CV joint. If the boot is torn you will need a new one and you might as well refresh the joint while you're in there as the process is the same.
  5. Thanks, yeah that would work. I would love to know that denso part number so I can source one locally though, that listing only shows the subaru part number.
  6. Hey folks, I have a 04 JDM GT-B. The rear O2 sensor has given up on life and needs replacement. Subaru part number is 22690AA690. Local dealer can only special order from Japan and charges accordingly. I don't doubt there are other 02 sensors that are virtually the same. Can anyone help me with an interchange part number? I'd be equally happy with a denso part number or bosch. Thanks in advance!
  7. Thanks guys. The MAF was cleaned very recently so I can check that one off the list. I'll do some logging. I see from another thread I should be logging A/F trims to check vacuum leak. What parameters should I watch to check the AVCS? The banjo filters have all been removed, fwiw.
  8. Hi guys, I'm trying to rectify an odd idle on my 2004 JDM GT-B. It'll drop down to 500RPM momentarily when I come off the gas, but only occasionally. My understanding is that this is a symptom a vacuum leak, but I'm wondering why it is intermittent, and frankly, it's driving me nuts. Could it be a sticky PCV valve? If so, where is the PCV? Any other ideas? I recently pressurized the intake with a bike pump and sprayed soapy water on all the joints in the intake without finding any leaks, and the issue is still present. Admittedly I haven't checked the exhaust-side joints for leaks but I can't hear anything there when the car is running. Seems to boost fine and am seeing 1.4 bar on the gauge. The wideband shows acceptable a/f ratios throughout the running range, although it goes lean when I come off the gas. The car has an HKS mushroom filter cold air intake pipe, and full HKS turboback exhaust (with a cat) and a tune but is otherwise stock. Plugs are fresh and it's not throwing any codes. I have a tactrix and wideband, so I'm reasonably well equipped to try diagnostic suggestions. Thanks in advance!
  9. Mine is an 04 JDM GT-B. In any case, those pictures were perfect and I got into the fender today. Hooray for clean windows! Sent from my RNE-L22 using Tapatalk
  10. Hi all, The washer fluid hose on my Gt-B has come off the pump. I can see washer fluid being blasted onto the inside of the fender when I activate the pump. I've had a glance at the engine bay and can't figure out how to access the pump to slide the hose back on. It almost seems like I will have to pop of the fender liner and go in from underneath but there has got to be an easier way? Any suggestions are gratefully appreciated! 11. My 04 JDM LGT-B is suffering from idle dips when coming off the gas. It'll drop to 3 or 400 RPM before stabilizing around 700, although it doesn't die completely. I've logged the car with a tactrix cable and the AF/R is showing over 20 as the rpm drops. Not getting any CELs. Plugs are new. What should I do next? MAF cleaning? Coil packs? Both? Or does this sound more like a vacuum issue?
