  1. So the other day, I pulled the trigger and bought an 06 FXT. I’ve wanted one for ages. I picked it up with a bad cam seal, and a bunch of CEL codes. (P0137, P2432, P1410, P0137 P, P2431 P, P2432 P, P1410 P Is what the scanner read.) Other than that, car's mint. I plan on dropping in an IAG stg2 shortblock No matter what future plans I make. So I was hoping to get some insight as to where to start with this. I'm most likely going to have to replace the heads as well. Should I look for refurbished OEM heads? I'm hoping that way down the line, I'll be making around 400whp. That's Endgame tho. As of right now, I want to get the motor healthy and happy before I start laying on the power. Anything I should take into consideration before starting this process? Thanks in advance!
  2. Alright so Ive been looking for a front lip for a while now. Legacy’s don’t really have too many options, so I looked around and saw people have been using the 06-07 WRX/STI lips on their legacy’s. And they look good too. So I order my lip and I take off y bumper to find the two aren’t even close in size. Anyone like... make this work? Is there a secret idk about?
  3. Try using the shift lock to put it in neutral, then start it. My legacy does this sometimes.
  4. So update, I just F***ing sent it and bought the GS. I tried as hard as I could to buy a used one, but couldn't be found. It's here, and now I'm just waiting on my tuner to come back from vacation so the mods can begin.
  5. AHoy. Just got my VF52 in the mail, and am looking to upgrade my intercooler as well. Any suggestions on what and where the best bang for my buck would be? Just wanted to get the communities opinion. Cheers.
  6. Cheers mate. Amazon says the camber bolts aren't for the car, but i guess this goes to show that you can't trust what the websites say. If you're running them, they must fit. Lmao
  7. I don't know why, but searching for adjustable rear control arms is proving to be a bit annoying. So i'm coming to the community. Is anyone running Whiteline's? I found these, but one website said they fit, and other say they don't. Look familiar to anyone? https://express.google.com/u/0/product/18347338672287576620_3684490050848076603_7301022?utm_source=google_shopping&utm_medium=tu_prop&utm_content=eid-lsjeuxoeqt&gtim=CLPIlZSn97GULhCN2cmBiqLNw9kBGNC4jtUBIgNVU0Qo4I_F6AUwns-9Aw&utm_campaign=7301022&gclid=CNreu7K84OICFd2CswodE9UI8w There are other ones that are like...metallic silver, but it's the same story with those. Any insight would be mucho appreciated.
  8. Hey guys, so why boost gauge if any are you guys running? I bought one a long time ago and now that I’m getting a new turbo (FV52) I wanna have a gauge installed. However, the hose for the gauge is very small, and finding a driver for tre lone off the BOV (1/4...I think) to the gauge hose (1/8.......I think) is impossible. Any of you guys running a gauge where finding an adapter isn’t the hardest part of the install?
  9. Found these wheels online. https://www.wheelfire.com/scontent/wheeldetails.cfm?idnumber=f29_hyperblack&sku=36447&vehiclemake=subaru&vehicleyear=2005&vehiclemodel=legacy&vehicleoption=2.5%20gt%20sedan Anyone else running these wheels? The website says it fits but doesn't show the offset. They're 17" and 8.5" width. Need to know if ive gotta roll my fenders. Any insight would be appreciated as always.
  10. My old turbo is shot. Found oil in it the other day, as well as the hot side of the intercooler. (No wonder why i wasn't getting boost) Changed the oil and got no flakes so it hasn't toasted my motor yet. As for HP gains, i was hoping for a boost but nothing crazy. Maybe 265-280. I've got an SPT intake, catless dp, 3" to 4" exhaust, and a Dw65c fuel pump. So shouldn't be too hard to achieve. And no i have not read it. I don't use this site too much.
  11. I was looking for a new turbo for my 05 GT base model. Came across this. Could one of you turbo gurus deduce what it needs to fit in my GT? It says it's a direct bolt on for vf40, vf46, and vf52. What about TD04's? Also i was looking for a vf52 originally, but it says TD05 16G 7cm. Is this a better option? Any help/ advice would be much appreciated. https://store.kinugawaturbosystems.com/products/kinugawa-billet-turbocharger-td05h-16g-7cm-for-subaru-legacy-gt-wrx-08-fits-vf46-vf40?variant=7423213043734&utm_medium=cpc&utm_source=google&utm_campaign=Google%20Shopping&gclid=EAIaIQobChMIp_vmoue34gIV1PfjBx0WAggmEAkYAiABEgLBAPD_BwE
  12. Where did you all get your vf52's from? Looking to get one soon and i just want opinions on where to get the most bang for my buck.
  13. Yeah, apparently i'm not the only one confused. The GT game with multiple brake options. (Bigger rotors as well as differently shaped pads/calipers. Why they did this, I'll never know. All i know is that it makes buying brakes online a gamble. You never know which ones you have until you try to put them on, and them THICC bois dont fit. I'll try and see if the s.5i brakes fit though, if not, then Subaru is off their rockers with the different brake options.
  14. I have a GT though. You’re saying the brakes for my car are the same as the brakes for the base level 2.5i?
