Mine started getting major squeaks...the noise sometimes overpowers the radio. I go in next Saturday to have the dealer look at it. I heard it gets fixed but then it comes back again...

I’m happy about Subaru adding some nice stuff to the legacy, one would have thought they were close to axing the legacy due to declining sales. I’m happy with my 18 atm, the turbo engine sounds nice, but I think I rather give it some additional time before I consider it especially with the DI. MPG went up so that’s always nice. They need to add the next gen eyesight that recognizes traffic lights which they deployed few years back in Japan.

I think you can reserve a 2020 OB now from Subaru. -
Still a very good value.

Moonroof rattles are common between all brands. Mine has little rattle when going over rough bumps, not that bad IMO

Took my leggy to a body shop to fix the side fender because it kept popping out. They popped two bolts on each side and now it’s in there good and doesn’t pop out. Also getting my STi black lip protector on Friday since the cherry rubber lip protector one has been taking a beating. At least the actual front lip is flawless.

I’m blown away how good it is! They might just sell like hot cakes!

New ‘18 owner advice?
IcEWoLF replied to spencerone's topic in Sixth Generation Legacy (2015 -2019 )
My suggestion is go Diode Dynamics lights, much better and very solid. If I had a red car I’d do a vinyl wrap on the roof gloss black, I’d also do a chrome delete too around the windows with vinyl wrap. But truly it’s your car and your choice. One thing I suggest new owners is to make sure to put a clear bra on the front of the car, sure it’s expensive but if you care about your car and want to keep it for a long time I think it’s a worthy investment. -
Gap Insurance from Subaru
IcEWoLF replied to Whitesnake's topic in Sixth Generation Legacy (2015 -2019 )
Gap insurance is just another way for dealers to make money. I skipped gap insurance when I bought my car, of course I am paying about $536 monthly but 0% interest for 63 months. I am buying, not leasing. I would never lease a Subaru, they are just not worth it. If I ever were to lease a car it be a high performance car, once the lease is up I’d dump it for another one. Dealers always push you towards leasing because they know they will be making a bank out of your lease. The poster before you explained why leasing is a bad idea and why gap insurance makes no sense. Your dealer cannot force you to get gap insurance, somewhere in that contract they put the gap in there so they can make more monies off you. -
Never going to buy a Subaru hybrid unless they can put out Tesla like numbers. Sorry I can’t stand slow rides anymore

Probably they want to squeeze in the $$$ so maybe 37k.

Also no exposed exhaust damn Subaru and their conservative ways. Probably because they don’t want to hurt the likes of Toyota and Lexus too much. Here is Redline Review:
