  1. It’s a nice car, but few things are missed: Rear cam doesn’t occupy whole screen. Incandescent lights are still present both in the front and back, it’s 2020 and I can’t believe Subaru just doesn’t go full led. The rear end looks bland if you ask him, they went Toyota style, I prefer the 6th gen rear end over the 7th gen. The engine is disappointing, the car feels slow. They didn’t bother optimize the engine for the smaller car, this engine could easily push 280-300hp. But I guess it be too much of a competition vs the wrx. Subaru needs to incorporate the lane change camera in their cluster gage, more and more companies are adopting this, their cluster gage needs to be updated. Some of the positives: The interior looks fantastic, high quality leather on touring. Huge entertainment system with separate processors for controls. Very quiet cabin, acoustic windshield and windows to reduce noise. Lane centering is fantastic, wish I had such feature on my 2018 legacy. If I were in the market I’d probably give it another 2 years before I considered buying it, I’d probably wait for nicer refresher. Subaru is trying hard interior, but really falls flat in the exterior car. They definitely spent more time designing the outback and the forester and of course the ascent.
  2. Did some paint correction to the rear trunk: https://imgur.com/a/Lyon9uq Came out nice.
  3. I didn’t have the gap much before my dumb *** friend ran into a parking block. I’ll check a different shop and see if they can do anything about it.
  4. Here are the pics of the final results: https://imgur.com/a/IwJ9hl5 Also anybody got a suggestion on how to fill in a small gap? The body shop is worried if they tight the bracket or try to fix it it might snap. I let one of my friends drive the car and he damaged the front lip. That’s why it needed to be repainted and repaired.
  5. They fixed the wind noise issues with the 2018 models.
  6. Just got my car back, they replaced the frame and all squeaks are gone for now, knock on wood and hopefully it stays that way. In the paperwork it said frame bushings were worn.
  7. Dropped off the STi lip at a body shop to repaint it, it will be a gloss black finish.
  8. People been saying cvt concerns but let’s face it it’s been rock solid: It’s not like you are driving a 300hp car... Unless you are a modder or drive your car like you stole it you should be fine. People show their concern on turbo, DI...and etc etc...
  9. That’s a rip off price, contact Luke and he will sell you the Subaru warranty at cost: https://legacygt.com/forums/showpost.php?p=5783213&postcount=2 Many people bought the warranty from Luke including me.
  10. They mentioned the TSB, it was also noted on the work order. Hopefully this fixes our issues.
  11. Just heard back from the dealership and they told me I needed a new seat frame, they ordered the part.
  12. Dropped the car off, Hope they figure things out!
  13. Tail light tinted https://www.instagram.com/p/B0XS5lpBpaV/?igshid=1n2lucxtlo4zn
  14. Here is a video of the tail lights, I have a video next to another legacy with no tinted tail lights, the other legacy was in the shop getting a front clear bra, he got his car a week ago. https://www.instagram.com/p/B0XS5lpBpaV/?igshid=1n2lucxtlo4zn Enjoy
  15. Call Subaru and let them know, I was past my warranty and they honored it, only paid $100 but o got a brand new headliner installed.
  16. Mine were replaced under warranty, the whole headliner was replaced. Do not settle for just clips because it’s gonna start sagging again within weeks.
  17. They told me they don’t have the light smoke, just mid smoke. I’ll post the pics tomorrow after they install it!
  18. I like the light smoke tint like this : But I also like the mid smoke tint:
  19. If I i were to get any Subaru’s I’d go for the limited at least, that’s the sweet spot. The Napa leather in the touring is nice too.
  20. Next week I am going to tint my tail lights. I’ll probably be doing a light tint like the one on this video. Also dry application:
  21. I’ve driven my car 80-90mph and never had stability issues, I plan on getting a beefier rear sway bar in the back to improve handling on corners, but overall I’ve been happy with my car.
  22. The gen 2 app in the car is fine, I too agree on STARLINK in the car, I use the radio/music app and nav with my iPhone. They really need to hire a different company to rethink their mobile app user experience. It’s just too much hassle to work it.
