  1. I climbed Four Peaks with my Outback lastnight. It was a blast
  2. Most of the time its the separator plate. Rear main leaks are not common on EJ engines.
  3. Keep an eye out for me around town. We live right down the street from each other lol I have IGOTASUBARU.com across the top of my windshield http://img.tapatalk.com/d03604ae-30a5-15d8.jpg http://img.tapatalk.com/d03604ae-30da-9601.jpg
  4. I have a shop in Chandler so if you ever need anything let me know. Where abouts in Mesa are you and what are you driving? I'm probably right down the street from you....
  5. I use my car for both having fun in the twisties, and off roading. I do both extremes in my car. When I off road, I usually disconnect my sways. I forgot to this time and it broke. Yes, for what I happened to be doing at that time, the sway bar was way too big.....but thats why I normally disconnect. To be honest with you, it had nothing to do with having too big of a bar. And I'm not running both (even though I plan too). Its a Whiteline sway bar on stock end links and mounts. And like I said before, suspension upgrades depend on the DRIVER....Suspension upgrades, techniques, and combinations are not "one size fits all". Like I said, you have a lot to learn. Especially if you think that its always wrong to run both sways and end links. Some applications / uses require the stiffest suspension possible. Your "theory" is going to lead to unsafe cars and dead drivers. Its bad information like what you're giving that ruin automotive forums, and the automotive community as a whole. Just to clear this up, I don't really sit in front of the computer that much. I work 80 hours a week and raise two children. I don't have much time to sit on the computer.
  6. Are you telling me my swaybars are too big? For what I need the swaybars for...they are perfect. I know what I'm doing with a Legacy....almost anyone here can tell you that as well. I don't need information off of NASIOC to tell me what sway bar I need. For the record, my rear swaybar is a 22mm adjustable. Meaning the stiff setting is equivalent to a 23mm (what I have it set at). You have a lot to learn if you think there is one right answer where it comes to suspension tuning. There is no better or worse....or right or wrong. Its all about what is best for the driver. What may work perfect for me may be terrible for you. What works for you might be terrible for me. I'm registered on NASIOC, and I have been for a very long time. The info on NASIOC is hit or miss. Some of it is right, some of it is dead wrong. Anything I see on NASIOC I don't trust until I can verify it elsewhere. NASIOC is a site full of a bunch of forum mechanics (with no real world experience) for the most part. Sure, there are people on there with lots of knowledge. But they are outnumbered by morons. /asshole rant
  7. Because I also like to have fun in the twisties. I usually disconnect my swaybars before I go offroad. This time I just forgot too. And STI ones won't work for me because they sit too close to the chassis. I need the extended ones. The Outback ones are 2 inches longer.
  8. Yeah...I had all kinds of death knocks coming from the rear so I stopped to inspect the damage and thats what I found lol
  9. You're right about one thing Baddog My swaybar mount today after I got done trail riding http://img.tapatalk.com/ce1db6a0-2e7a-bb6b.jpg http://img.tapatalk.com/ce1db6a0-2e41-15f7.jpg
  10. Rallitek bars are decent....but Whitelines are MUCH stronger. If you're considering SERIOUSLY using your swaybars, Whiteline is the way to go. There is a good reason they cost a little bit more. Jordan with Defined Performance (http://www.definedusa.com) can usually hook you up with a pretty decent deal on Whiteline stuff. He will beat anyones price.
  11. Sure. Its the Whiteline 22mm adjustable rear part #BSR19XXZ I cut just between the very inside adjustment and the middle adjustment. http://www.whiteline.com.au/images/thumbnail/tn_BSR19XXZ.jpg http://www.whiteline.com.au/images/thumbnail/tn_BSR19XXZ-2.jpg
  12. I installed the 22mm Whiteline adjustable rear sway. When on the stiffest setting, it would hit the trailing arms / lateral links. To fix this I cut off the two soft setting.... Just sharing in case any one else runs into this issue.
  13. The heads will bolt up to the engine...however I don't know if the 25D intake will fit on those heads or not....and I don't know if the 257 intake has the needed stuff to let your 25D sensors and vacuum lines bolt up.
  14. Yes but you have to change the clutch fork, slave cylinder, and clutch with it because push vs. Pull style clutches
  15. Ej251 is SOHC...and will bolt right in. You might have to swap over a few sensors but for the most part I think its like doing the EJ22 swap. Just make sure it has MAF. I don't remember if dot does or not
  16. If they were from a 06 WRX they will fit. You got different suspension my friend. Get your money back
