My gas mileage drops really bad when there is snow. I had basically no snow in North Idaho this year so my gas mileage has been better. When there is snow I get terrible gas mileage because I thoroughly enjoy making the AWD kick in all the time lol What I don't understand is how you guys get such bad gas mileage regularly. That coufuses me because I don't drive slow, I'm pretty hard on the gas and I get better mileage. Well last year I actually did a test... I drove modestly with one tank of gas then aggressively (how I usually drive) with another tank. I actually got better mileage driving aggressively. I was pretty surprised. Needless to say I don't drive modestly haha and I did that test during the summer and I don't use A/C often because I like having the windows down and sunroof open. That girl must not have known anything about cars. That poor thing lost her a** on that car.

Be prepared to pay around $1000 if you are getting it done at a dealership.

It's winter so gas mileage should be expected to be lower. I'm getting about 20 mpg and I do about 80% city. During the summer, driving the same routes, I get 23-25 mpg. And straight highway I get about 28 mpg.

Nice! Yeah I'm the same way with the bass. I love to hear it but I don't want it to overpowering. I don't see how to people can have it so loud that is is rattling their car. I wouldn't get any enjoyment out of that. I want the bass there but I alway would like to hear the song.

Bassnectar yes the lack of an aux port and ipod integration suck! I would like remote start! I'm thinking about getting it. I'm using a tape deck with my iPod right now. It is ok but I am going to get a new deck. I'm in need of a new steering rack, mine is really shakey over bumps and stuff. I'm also probably going to have to get a new trans sometime because mine is kinda f'ed up.

What type of mods and upgrades?

Holy cow! The person that had your car before you bassnectar didn't drive much, did they?

There was a 1998 Forester for sale up where I live and the person had 430,000 miles on it and it was still going strong! I was amazed!

I've got almost 116,000 miles. Got it with 102,000.
