  1. Ok guys... I know this isn't a Subaru but I really like this car. I personally know the owners of the dealership and they said they would let me buy the car for $5,000 (Only $200 over wholesale price). Do you think it is worth it? I'd still keep my Subaru of course! I could never get rid of it. http://spokane.craigslist.org/ctd/1669219673.html
  2. And that is what makes a Subaru a Subaru! I wonder why he swapped the engines?
  3. I honestly don't care a whole lot for the Impreza's. My car is 100% stock. You should put somemore pictures of your car in an album on your profile.
  4. Huh I didn't know that they did meets up here. It is a good place for them, there are Subaru's everywhere around here!
  5. Sandpoint! Wow Spokane, you are the person closest to me now. Before it was people from Oregon lol
  6. I hope my car is done being jinxed now lol Yeah I gotta go too. I have to be at the at school in the am but it is only 10:30 pacific time!
  7. This is the only car I've ever had. I have had my license for almost 3 years. You can get your license when you are 15 in Idaho. I wish my car was a manual because then people wouldn't ask so much lol I love our boat! It is great during the summer. Haha that is funny! Just a couple months ago this girl in my health occupations class backed in the back door of my car and then left. So I went out to my car like 2 minutes after she left and see the side of car all caved in. I was mad. The teacher heard me say quite a few choice words about the whole situation. Lucky for the girl I tracked her down and made her pay for it and I didn't call the police for her to get a hit and run ticket. Anyone that does anything to my car will pay for it, I don't care who you are. The other time it got hit a realtor side swipped the front of it while I was in my grandparents house. Thank God he was a nice guy and called himself in for doing it and he was talking to the cops about it when I came outside and saw it. And the first time it was wrecked the PO swerved to miss hitting a moose and ran it into the ditch smashing the whole front end up but the airbags didn't go off.
  8. The fastest I've gone in my car is 90 but I've gone over 100 in my mom's Yukon XL... My mom has had my car going 110. My family is full of road rage and speed lol Haha my back seat has no miles on it.. I come from a highly religious family and I would be killed if they found out I did something. But I do know what you mean about someone else driving away in your car.. I don't think I'll ever be able to get rid of it. I want an Outback really bad but I will keep the LGT when I get an Outback (attachment issues). I have only let 1 friend drive my car but because I trust no one to drive it.
  9. Yeah the mirror is minor! The rotors going out when you are at 120 mph would scare the crap out of me!
  10. Haha I'm not really a spoiled rich kid but my car was given to me for Christmas in 2007. The only reason I got it was because it was totalled and my dad works in the auto body business. Since I got it after it was fixed the first time it has been wrecked two more times... None of which were my fault. So it has had a whole new front end one, then parital front end again, and now a new rear door on the drivers side. Along with getting the back bumper repainted and quarter panel repainted. Mechanically, I haven't had hardly anything done. Just oil changes, new belts, and new O2 sensor to make the check engine light go off. I haven't paid for anything that has been done to my car. I've only been paying for the gas that has gone into the last two months. Yes my parents pay for almost everything I do but I do not take that for granted... I appreciate everything they do. I'm 17 and I do have a job but I help them a lot so that is why they pay for a lot of the stuff that gets done with the car.
  11. Haha yeah, I read what you wrote in another thread and you pretty much completely overhauled the whole car! But that is really cool to do.. Granted you have the money lol
  12. Haha my dad has a goose neck trailer with a winch on it so when anyone in my family has a break down he picks up the car. We have only had to do it once though and that was because my mom's fuel pump in her Yukon XL stopped working. My Subaru hasn't broken down on me ever -knock on wood-
  13. Lol yeah I can imagine! I haven't had the headgasket issue yet. I'm just kind of waiting for it to happen. I want to buy another 2nd gen Legacy GT or Outback with the head gaskets already taken care of because over the course of the next couple years I'll be driving about 2,000 miles a month and I don't want it to happen to me when I'm a ways from home.
  14. Haha good thinking! So why did you replace the engine in your car? Headgasket issue?
  15. Haha I call the Powerstrokes Rattlestrokes because they make so much noise. I like the Cummins because it is quiet and they haven't changed there engines so much. They had the 5.9 forever and now they have the 6.7. Ford has changed the Powerstroke too many times, in my opinion. I'm not trying to argue, I'm just explaining my thinking on the subject lol
  16. I know about diesels. I don't care much for Powerstrokes though, they are way to noisy! I prefer Cummins. I love Dodge's with Cummins engines in them. I wish they would make the new Fords with a Cummins engine, that would be the perfect combination. Up here where I live you have to have a car to get anywhere. The Subaru's here have 150K-250K on them, if you find one with as low of miles as mine then you have lucked out. Even though those Subaru's have so many miles they still sell for $4,000 because there is a high demand for Subaru's here.
  17. How do people find these low mileage Subarus? I can't find one up here, that is for sale, to save my life! When I got my car in December, 2007 it has somewhere around 102k now it has 116,6XX. Kaz, I know what you mean! If it were easy and inexpensive to do I would have it done tomorrow. Then I wouldn't have to deal with my quirky 4EAT.
  18. Ok, yeah you didn't put Limited Edition down in the car box. I've still got the old 4EAT, I wish it were a manual!
  19. Subidude24, is your car a manual? I'm guessing it is. Kaz, how many miles does your body have on it and how many does your engine have on it?
  20. Offset that is low mileage for a '95! That is almost the same as my car now.
  21. Baddog, you got a good deal! Especially being in the Portland area.
  22. Haha in the pacific northwest US, where I live, you are extremely lucky to find a Subaru will less than 150,000 miles. All of the ones up here have 150,000 to 250,000 miles and they are still selling for at least $4,000.
  23. Wow that is a lot of miles! Post the link on here so we can take a look!
