  1. Curious on the fitment, got any pics?

I'll try to snap a couple later, easier than digging through my phone I think.

But there's really nothing to see, pretty sure it's designed that way. I think I trimmed half an inch or so from my snorkel just to make installation possible without removing the boxes "lid", but it would fit fine without that I think. All stock mounting bits are used, box is bolted in according to instructions.

  2. I haven't been here for 10 years, but just checked my join date and can't believe it's been more than 6 as of this August. I lurked, then bought a new '09 5mt LGT in 2010, then sold it in 2011. Then bought a 5eat wagon in, uhhh, 2012? Then sold it, bought a 5mt OBXT at around the same time and the rest is history I guess.

I've wondered how I have ended up so immersed in this community but I guess it sums up to 12k posts or so, 6 years, and 3 subies later, 2 of 'em modded.

    Whoops.

  3. Roofing costs I can attest to. Especially with an attached 2 car garage.

Depends on how complex the roof is. Ours is about as simple as they come. Six rectangular surfaces, no perpendicular rooflines.

I'm in same boat as you, jase. But our roof is about as simple as it gets. Single line across the house, just two big surfaces (front / back) to shingle. Speaking of, I need to price that out to make sure we are squirreling enough away for a few years from now...

  4. So, if I'm understanding this correctly, you'd route the WB Sensor to UEGO box output through the non-unused TGV connector (presumes TGV deletes are in place), so you'd be able to read the WB data, via your OBDII connector, on your AP, or BtSsm? I'm seeing a lot of algebraic formulae and wondering where that all goes, since I don't use RR, or other datalogging software.

That math-mumbo-jumbo is because the signal doesn't get spit out in AFR format, so you have to convert it to such.

  5. Just placed an order for one of these kits over the weekend. I had PMed Jeff for the plans a few months ago but never got around to building my own. (Thanks for taking the time to put the materials list together and sending it to me).

Fast forward: did an oil change this weekend and was going over the car like I usually do, and saw that my TMIC is starting to separate at the corner near the inlet (same as everyone else). Hopefully I'll get the kit soon so I can go ahead and resolve this issue.

Thanks for the order. Your kit will go out tomorrow, suspect you'll have it by Thursday!
