  1. Do all the miner stuff yourself that you can, and maybe some major things. I would get the STI 6MT and add DCCD control. Yes it will cost you but if you plan on keeping it do it right. You can do split case 6MT or other versions but a Solid 04-05 STI 6MT is strong. Yes it will cost but it's worth it. Save you money and search around and you can still find deals.
  2. Did you replace the plugs yet??? I saw you said you regaped them, but I had a 2008 N/A and had issues bad idle and it was the plugs. I got OEM plugs and wires, and the problem went away. I never had a problem with injectors at all.
  3. You must be RICH, I only ever put in about 7.5 gallons lol. I need to be fast lol. If it's a night when the cars are out or big car event in town, I keep 4 gallons or so. full tank is heavy.
  4. If that toohot hood scoop comes up in silver, I really want one. I think they look cool. I have FMIC anyway.
  5. Nice but you should have come back to the LGT wagon lol . I like the new XT's but they are nothing like the old schools.
  6. I have run a set of ISC coilovers for a long time. 32 way adjustable (I have no clue where or how to do all those adjustments), fully rebuildable, and lifetime warranty. I have yet to have a single problem out of them. there are so very good set that do not cost you 2500-4000. Mine cost about 1300 and I have a subie shop install them. I also miss my 800 dollar Tein coilovers. Never had one issue with those and the car drove very well. The key is to make sure you leave a decent wheel gap and not try and tuck tire. The ride will be better than stock if you get pillow ball mounts.
  7. if you do it be careful, these cars need a tune when you mess with the air flow.
  8. I do not know how many miles you have , but get to a performance subie shop and get fresh fluid in there.
  9. Change the oil every 5k with a great filter (I personally use Amsoil filters and oil for the past 12 years), order a nice AEM Dryflow engine and cabin filter that you can clean (I use these also), and put back in. Take out that drain plug and get an EZ drain valve, so your oil change takes 6 mins including filter change. These cars are tuff and these intervals are to get the dealer money. At 80k you can change out all fluids. Brake, diffs, and CVT. I go to a Subaru performance shop anytime I need big work done. If the car is running good no reason to change stuff at 30k. Brakes you can do with hand tools, so get those hands dirty.
  10. Here is my baby. She sees the garage most of the time because I am so busy. I get her out few times a week. Love that car, it's a full rebuild and has tons of parts. big pump, 1000cc injectors, rails, GT-25 turbo (Custon built VF52), that list goes on for days.
  11. Sheeehs 4 stacks. Love to have them but want STI 6MT more.
  12. Don't you want the STI 6MT? I know I would like to have it with DCCD.
  13. Cost is way too much for a 2008 120k miles. People have lost their minds. I understand we Legacy peeps know what the car is but it's 7-8k car all day. I watch, listen and have many friends in the auto sales space and they swear that no one is looking at 2008 car to spend 14k on lol.
  14. Naw you need them to fix it. Go back to them and talk to the owner. I understand it was their job to tow, but they have to do it and not damage the car. I used a dolly for the rear wheel or hooked it up and they could have charged you. Now they need to pay. Your full STI drivetrain and trans is messed up now.
  15. What tow driver is such a moron to not know it was AWD lol.
  16. Has this been updated or is it non-green? If non-green let me know.
  17. Still running Amsoil 5-40 for the past 10 years. Cars are great and i will stick with it.
  18. Repleace all your coil packs from Rock auto. Intermotor is that brand i used and I swear they are the OEM without subaru stampped on them.
  19. Just get some used Brembo's with decent pads . I never track mine and it sits most of the time lol. When I do get it out, I use those brakes and I love the Brembo upgrade. Got mine for 300 bucks used and did the rebuild kit from Brembo and they are solid. Stocks with a DBA rotor and very nice pads work well also.
  20. Do you have spacers? How did you fit 265's? what is the wheels and tire setup?
  21. Gross , come back to turbo land. I die inside when I drive my 2013 cvt 2.5i lol
