All right folks, after a recommendation from Steve (enthusiast) I am trying to consolidate info. Please post down below if you see a vendor you want added, or a type of vendor you want added, that is in Colorado. Also, feel free to discuss your experiences with any of the companies that are listed. If you want a business added, post everything about it like what is already done in the powder coating section, than I can copy and paste it up top...

I found an AWESOME place for a meet yesterday. It includes a great drive, and then a location to BBQ, drink beer, and TUBE!!!!!! Basically, a few of us would need to camp there over night to get a place for parking and a meal, but it would be a lot of fun...
11 Mile Canyon. Not the State park, but the National Forest portion that is below the reservoir.

And Brady, you just haven't been out here long enough. Other than the install meets, 99% of the meets are up in Denver

ted, i was expecting you to:
A.) tell me I should have gotten KW's
B.) commend me for thinking of brake bias
C.) reprimand me for not understanding the brake bias (if "B" was an epic fail)
but no, all I get is love for brad pitt, and a mental image of you, open-jawed, with a blank stare, watching the Mexican.
note to self: don't mention brad pitt during install days or install days will be substituted for man-lovin' movie days
A.) You will get them in the end
B.) I am EXTREMELY proud that you are doing suspension and brakes before more power. Most peeps NEVER do that. More-over, the fact that you are adding a little more rear bias is awesome.
C.) See B
Oh yeah, and lastly...
BRAD PITT FTMFW!!!!!

Let me check w/ the wife on dates, but I am in...So who wants to help me install my... uhh.. presents for myself?:coilovers
sways
rotors
(I went shopping! )
ted come home! i'll buy pizza!
-
I did not remove my front dust shields for the ST kit, but I did the rear. I have not noticed this problem and I have driven through VERY heavy rain...
-
^^^Good pad, only thing to worry about is that Hawk Track pads are hard on rotors...
-
They are a good street pad w/ the ability to go to Auto-X temps...
NOT a track pad
-
XP10s in front, XP8s in the rear...
I highly recommend the Carbotech track pads as they are very nice to the rotors...
-
^^^^Exactly!

If you do what Tristan said, which is to start w/ a stock map and modify it (base), you won't have memory issues. I can get everything I want changed in a Base map, but some things I like modifying w/ the RT map, so that is where I do it...
-
For those of you looking at suspension, here is a good deal...
-
Then again, you could keep the stock tires to burn them up quicker
-
I promise, the KWs actually ride NICER than Bilstiens and Pinks (Or any other springs)on that note Ted, I will be checking out the Tarmac's and KW's... but to me coilovers seem like overkill. It would be nice in the winter time to raise them up, but would that be the only advantage for someone like me who doesn't really plan on tracking all the time? (maybe once/twice a year really...) I don't mind a rough ride, but feel like I'm too dumb when it comes to the complexities of coilovers!Yet they out perform then. It is quite nice
Tires and pads...I currently have the stock suspension setup, but would like to upgrade. My plans include:
H Tein springs
Hawk HPS pads
New tires (preferably all seasons, What is a good tire?)
Not Sure if i will be able to get all this done by august, but maybe. Do you think this would be a good setup? If you could only do one of them which would you do?

Not my first time at a track day, but it was the first time in the wagon.
We can go out for a drive and figure out in the Mtns which group you should be in
I don't need to run in the aggressive group. There were 300+ whp cars in the intermediate group, and the guys in the agressive group cared more about beating each other, and less about having fun and staying safe IMHO...
-
I actually went in the intermediate group last time...
The beginners were so slow, at times they were dangerous, and the advanced were out to kill each other.
I am somewhere in between
-
The Tarmac 1s from Racecomp are the cheapest, and best in terms of what they offer vs. the KWs, but I will say I never go stiff enough that I would need the extra range of the Tarmacs...

I am doing ST, I know how to use enginuity a little, but I will learn more soon. The tuning methodology itself is the same...
-
I'll help you w/ tuning
Just let me know. I didn't take them out, but I can pretty easily
Sorry about the KW recommendations, but you will love them
