  1. I'm gonna get it retuned hopefully next weeks to start to make some real power on this 20g. Soon as I can afford it I'm going to look at getting a new turbo one that is bigger than my arm cxr550.

  3. It flew out in Arkansas because they have yet to figure out how to pave roads there. I hit a bunch of dips and pot holes and I guess when it came down one time the tire caught the liner and ripped it out and spit part of it onto the interstate. Also the front drivers cv axle is spraying grease. But I have a spare axle so ill put that in soon as my stuff arrives in knoxville.
  4. The car made it in one piece minus a fender liner that is somewhere in Arkansas
  5. I've got a little over 2000 miles on the motor now and it feels good. I've asked alot of it so far since it was basically built and then hasent had a chance to really stop yet. I'm hoping to make it to nc tomorrow and tgen get it retuned

  7. Well last night I actually stayed in flagstaff the car did ok on the climb up there, but I made it all the way to Amarillo Texas today, the motor has 1300 miles on it and is doing well. I got it retuned last night before I left Phoenix buy a guy that has a pretty nasty 62/62 legacy that turned into a submarine a few weeks ago... Any ways nice guy and a huge help his name on here is zorro, and if your reading this Travis thanks again I appreciate it
  8. Here are some pictures from my mini road trip for breaking in the engine http://i499.photobucket.com/albums/rr353/jmorris6689/null-45.jpg http://i499.photobucket.com/albums/rr353/jmorris6689/null-44.jpg http://i499.photobucket.com/albums/rr353/jmorris6689/null-46.jpg http://i499.photobucket.com/albums/rr353/jmorris6689/null-47.jpg http://i499.photobucket.com/albums/rr353/jmorris6689/null-48.jpg http://i499.photobucket.com/albums/rr353/jmorris6689/null-49.jpg http://i499.photobucket.com/albums/rr353/jmorris6689/null-51.jpg http://i499.photobucket.com/albums/rr353/jmorris6689/null-52.jpg http://i499.photobucket.com/albums/rr353/jmorris6689/null-53.jpg The Porsche was really ugly so I took a picture of it, the owner tried to paint the air inlets to look like a Lamborghini, it was terrible
  9. Oops my bad did not mean to put that horrible thought in peoples head
  10. Update the car is broken in and I'm doing the first oil change tomorrow, and then tuning it. After I'm tuned I'm hitting the road and headed to the east
  11. Hopefully this one works better. So far I've got 112 miles on it, I'm going to try to put on another 400 today.
  12. After I get a few years under my belt working at Cummins I would like to transfer out west some where I love snowboarding and the east coast just doesn't compare to the west for snowboarding.
  13. ...and I can't get my car today, gotta love bank errors that aren't in your favor...
  14. The car is done and being broken in. I'm gonna go grab it up Monday:wub:
  15. Update time!! I got a call earlier today from the shop that has my car. The motor is back together and being put into the car. Should be ready to go later this week. So far my impression of forced air technologies (the shop in Phoenix) is that this shop is great. They have maintained good communication with me and gave me a few options on what I could do considering the situation I was in. They have rebuilt the motor quickly and they replaced all work or broken parts all for about $3200. They had plenty of other car ahead of me but were gracious enough to make my car one of the top priorities. Earlier this year the same shop cleaned my block that I had built into the motor that most recently failed. I went to go pick the block up from them and the owner of the shop told me don't worry about a bill there is no charge. This shop has gone far beyond any other shop I've every dealt with. I'm impressed with the work I've seen done by them, and I can't wait to have my car back especially since it is now going to be reliable. Soon as I start my new job in Tennessee and get a savings built up I'm going to have these guys build me a nice 10sec or better motor. But if any of y'all reading this are ever in Phoenix and need subaru stuff go see F.A.T. great shop and nice professional staff.
  16. I plan on it. I'd like to see if the head work and header made a difference
  17. Well most if the motor is ok seeing as it only ran for 30 seconds before being torn down. So it is still a full rebuild just minimal replacement of parts compared to the last time I shot bearing through my motor. But anyways it should be done soon and then come the break in around Arizona, then off to Tennessee. Hopefully this shop is as good as they say and all the reviews are true. I really need this one to hold together for a while
  18. Yeah, the turbo shot bearing material all through out the motor. All my other stuff is fine. But they took it all apart to clean and inspect everything
  19. Soon as I start my job in Tennessee I'm goin to send my amr off to get rebuilt and ill put it back on my car in place of the 20g that's going on it for now. And I'll probably sell the 20g. Soon as money starts coming in again I'm going to start compiling parts for the 10 sec motor build
  20. Nope, I'm a panthers fan. But it's not too much to cheer about
