  1. yeah I figured low heat and low speed feed....We'll see what my dad says, I'm sure he'll be in he and I had a lot of 'fun' installing the roll bar on Sunday
  2. how hot and what speed of feed did you use... I could easily convince my dad to bust out one of his MIG welders to do this for me
  3. Glad I'll just be 30 in May lol My frame rails are FUBAR so frog arms would be a lot easier What seams did you weld?
  4. Ah, I'm kinda waiting for 949 Racing's Technicas (low priced coils) and another batch of 6UL's I highly a roll hoop IMO is a necessity for these cars. I couldn't believe how much it helped the car structurally, and beyond all else for pure safety. I'm really seriously considering some Frog Arms as my next mod after suspension, wheels and tires
  5. Where did you find 6UL's 949 racing is still out of stock? Info on the dual headlights? Wasn't as easy as its made out to be. Drilling the rear bolt holes is a GIANT pain in the ass and i'm not sure how you do it without a small right angle drill and an ultra stubby bit. My dad and I wound up plotting them out from the bottom and drilling them from the bottom.
  6. you know there's an In-n-Out in Dallas you didn't have to drive to CA for it....
  7. I think we did talk about it, I just keep reading about how the bilsteins with collars are so much better than everything ever made
  8. Wow most of the people on m.net talk about it being well over $20 a quart. I could have justified $4 extra a quart. I'm trying to figure out what to do for suspension, bilsteins with collars or V-Maxx Classic. I keep going back and forth.
  9. I'm running MTL in my car I had a hard time spending $30 a quart on transmission fluid.
  10. Yeah I think it gets replaced with the reroute. I also have a new ecu temp sensor to put in. I did that recently also and it's amazing how it transformed my gearbox. It's like a whole new car.
  11. I'm pretty sure my cas is leaking like a sieve it was down a quart of oil in about 1000 miles lol... Think I'll do a coolant reroute while I'm in there.
  12. If you can find a place that doesn't really do a complete visual then passing the sniffer is easy with a catted downpipe.
  13. Yeah I might just see what I can find at the hardware store
  14. I need a set to use with my stock lines.... I had originally bought my 3 port to run with my old 3000GT so I don't have the right size nipples
  15. Manual said spec is 182psi, low is 130psi and maximum difference between cylinders is 28psi.
  16. Compression test on the 1.8L in my Miata...175, 170, 175, 185. A little more difference than i'd like and a little on the low side but should be just fine for now
  17. Good to know I might just skip the sways for now then and focus on wheels and tires after the V-Maxx
  18. What version of the V-Maxx do you have I'm thinking about getting the classics with their sways.
  19. I'm kinda questioning my desire to keep mine street friendly because mine has stock suspension on it and it's already everything you guys are talking about lol...
  20. NICE! I love the Club Sports and the little fender badge is awesome too! I also wish my NA looked as good as yours!
  21. How did I wait this long to set timing out to 14 degrees BTDC? It's like an entirely different car! Same with moving to Redline MTL for the transmission!
  22. Yeah its a damned good deal for MRLS usually it's $350 to $450 for a track day there
