  1. Sorry didn't post em here yet. from what I gather removing the stock mid pipe resonator drastically changes the tone and loudness. Stock cans with straight pipe in place of mid resonator. Interior (headphones or nice speakers needed to capture low tones) [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-LZYS7sLazc]YouTube - No mufflers just resonator.[/ame]
  2. TSi once you get to a area of the world where more than one legacy exist You get to ride in a few to compare vs our area where we get lumped into nasioc. In Va and Md we had LGT meets and sometimes we joined the Nasioc crew. Sl1200 if you see a 05 white Legacy with black wheels its most likely me. Newer with black wheels its Berkshire. If you see anyone else GL cause they aren't on the forums.
  3. Yeah It was easier to go from black interior to tan vs the other way. The only thing that looks out of place is the tan seats and the black deck. Tan interior is soo hard to keep clean I left the black carpet in cause I'm too OCD. Everytime I take it to a shop I end up cleaning pillars door cards and ceilings If you are going tan to black try and get the kick panels lower sills and dash. The glove box lock is not that hard to swap out. Ignore the shift boot. http://i90.photobucket.com/albums/k280/merc6/LGT/IMG_0688.jpg I think I found one online just trying to verify if the car was out in the snow w/o doors. I already did the swap but didn't fully grab the seatbelt/air bag stuff in the swap before insurance came back for the car. Didn't get the 06 and 05 didn't directly swap memo till too late.
  4. Every turbo sounds different even with identical intake mods. The 46 is not even the same pitch as the 40 to me.
  5. Yep the splash guards are on. was told w/o it the scoop would lose efficiency. Engine cover is no longer on and same results. Never drilled the tabs on the Perrin top mount so It was just there possibly hiding a few rows of the TMIC. Bracket removed for it when I took the alt off on belt changes 3 months ago. I think it was the diamond cuts where the turbo gets air from scoop. Tune has me closed loop for half throttle so I'm pretty much spot on with thread #1.
  6. I hear of a home depot planter mod. People tell me to search for a banned members post somewhere on this forum. After a hr I gave up and avoided puddles or a full underbody carwash option. Hose @ home leaves way too many waterspots on the car when I wash it there.
  7. The common raining too hard cel I got was from the water entered the scoop and ran down the intake to the filter somehow. It wasn't coming from below. Now with the radiator swap I have nothing blocking the passenger corner of the radiator but I switched back to Blitz Grille/Airbox mod for winter driving. The car wash one was under carriage option almost all the times unless it had that 2 second delay where the front tires already pass the jets before it starts. I saw the bypass but a lot people had issues of it dry rotting over time and breaking off into the induction system.
  8. There is the rain/car wash cel that I get with my intake. The maf gets wet and sends the voltage cel. Too bad you can't get it before it is erased completely. Were these cels after a puddle, Drive thru under body spray option car wash, or in my case it rains hard enough that it goes into the hood scop and ends up in the filter element?
  9. I like the trunk lid lip and the tree air freshener.
  10. Haven't used them yet but will if the parts are still there. Newest Pull a part has is 97's and on the forums a car gets totaled someone buys the whole car. http://www.pamsauto.com/default.aspx
  11. Mine looks like that after it was backed into. or maybe it's a 05 thing.
  12. This was a.m. I head the other way 10 p.m. ish
  13. Sounds like me but in all the wrong places I keep seeing the same 3 blue lgt near Ft Dix but they never look my way or even waive back. LOL WTF I have a twin?
  14. You were headed in the direction of the roundabout. Trader Joes and all those resterants would be on your left. We were in that last traffic light intersection just before it turns 35mph again. You just proved what I was saying earlier. A white legacy stock or modded can blend into traffic.
  15. Spotted a Blue leggy on Chagrin Blvd.in the speed trap area near trader joes. Was thinking TSX but you have fogs on your bumper in front of your grille. I was waving and high beaming but you was looking for the cops I assume. He was hidden behind the Rite Aid further down you was already out of harms way. This was friday or saturday.
  16. Live and work in hilly areas. Boost below 5 psi uphill is highly unlikely. downhill is a different story
  17. LMAO D.C. and snow. My 5eat required a full warm up before driving away when I lived in FFX county or I would stall out the 1st traffic light. Tire spin and winter gas mix also screws you on mpg. Luckily I wasnt one of those folks who commute from Bmore to dale city everyday.
  18. Yeah but that and the civic didn't go as hand in hand.
  19. LOL a DSM and a skittle spotted near each other...
  20. Let me know if you find a 05. Could be cloth/leather I just need the electronics. Will drive since I drive the turnpike monthly.
