  1. Damn, I sure hope so too. Too nice to just parts it out. Looks almost like twin of my RBP. Were those CT plates ?
  2. @jaylew I'll give you a ride no problem, we might end up going a little slower than last year since I do not want to push the engine too hard - it was pushing coolant last year when we were going 85 mph on the highway. Just need to work out the logistics of meeting somewhere. @boxkita I believe we brought the Aligash last year, will keep this in mind... I also need to bring that JDM mirror for @KZJonny, along with some bumper clips etc.
  3. Our plan is to head out on Thursday and start back Sunday. Will be in 2 cars as last year - BRZ and LGT. Let me know what your thoughts are.
  4. BMWs should be plenty around Boston... As for Sienna keep in mind that last generation's AWD is electric motor in the rear that's only active up to 30mph.
  5. The rails that connect the seat assembly to the car body. Mine got rusty after contact with the salt after all these winters. These do not look easy to separate and perhaps proper way is to replace the whole seat base. Also, I do not know if you want to take the seat apart. If you have buyer for the whole seat I'll look elsewhere. I am not in a hurry, so if you want to consider just selling the seat base let me know. Just in case it is power seat which I believe all GTs came with anyway. left (outer) side: right (inner) side:
  6. Brian, is the driver seat still there? I may need some parts from it. Sorry to be late for this.
  7. These ballasts are low beams but they won't work with USDM headlights housing. On JDM headlights they are located inside the housing itself and are sealed from elements, plus there is a mounting location there for them, and sealed access cover. On USDM housing none of that exists. I did use LED bulbs for years and have had good experience with them. Probably between OEM halogen and OEM HIDs. Full LED conversion of course is better but also much more work.
  8. I hope to be there and sure, we can spend some time and put those JDM bumpers on... I will grab some plastic fasteners and tools. Are you doing pre-facelift JDM swap?
  9. Exactly, these mats are all the same for Legacy wagons and Outbacks 05-09. Some local junkyard may have some.
  10. Did not post the photos of JDM front end conversion my boys did on my wagon last summer. Here it is:
  11. Meant to show this for some time. Applies to wagon owners. If you have a spare cargo rubber mat, you can use it to cover the folded rear seats. When seats are up, both mats stack up nicely and there is little noticing of second mat.
  12. Took it for spirited drive to pick up takeout. God this car drives so well, any thoughts of selling it literally fly out of the window. My son picked the HVAC actuators from the dealer. If I end up taking the dash out, will also try to apply some sound insulation whenever I'll be able to reach.
  13. yeap, this exactly how I did it on our Tribeca, and for the same reason - no heat on passenger side. I was a little nervous about leaks but this far (knocking on the wood) it's been fine.
  14. It is the whole box under the dash, here shown as 72110. Includes the case, all actuators with all related parts, and heater core If this were the only thing my wagon needed I might have dropped $500+ on it but I have rear brake lines, fuel tank and new SB sometime in the future. 3 full units for 2005 were available on East Coast yesterday per my parts guys.
  15. I might finally fix the rear hatch defroster now that the spring is here. Oh yes, ordered 4 HVAC actuators for my 2005 LGT with auto climate. The complete HVAC unit (06A) was more than $500 so decided against that.
  16. I had some good luck picking up O-ring for steering pump at local Toyota dealer. Having old in my had to compare with what they had made it much easier. My preferred Subaru dealer is about 45 minute drive away but I like to give them business - they know their stuff and we've been with them since 2007. And Amazon/Ebay parts can be hit or miss. Even if they say OEM.
  17. I am still sad about your wagon. One less RBP LGT Wagon in this universe.
