  1. Does anyone know of a good independent mechanic in northern Virginia? I need tranny work and the lovely dealership quoted between $4600-$7000!!! Sounds like I need a whole new shebang. Just bought the car 2 weeks ago. SWEET right?!!

    Any help would be appreciated.

    wow thats 6mt swap territory.

  2. There are a lot of factors that determine how fast you will run. You can't compare your times, apples to apples, with other cars and drivers. There are people on forum that could run a stock legacy at stg2 numbers.

The best you can do is work on your individual technique.

So true.. and to add to that, environmental conditions like temperature, humidity, elevation, and track condition can make or break a good time.

  3. TGV deletes tend to move the power band to the right. Some owners like it and some dont.

I still perform deletes at the shop. Just dont have a lot of cores, so never advertised shipping them. I do however have a kit in production now that allows at home TGV deleting by members and will sell for about $50.

    Nice!

Did you see the nasioc group buy? Alot of vendors on the GB list too. Custom fabricated top feed for $170/ nearly 300 ppl signed up last I checked.
