  1. I did. P1446. Evap. Did all the troubleshooting with the help of Tysparks. Needs a new valve.
  2. Thanks! Gotta re-paint her though as she's looking a little sad... Hopefully soon too. Otherwise, She's in good shape mechanically
  3. Brought her back to the dealership less than 24 hours after getting her... Broken horn, CEL, and roof rack is loose... Hopefully they don't break things.... This dealership has proven to not be trusted, but I can't let this car go Sent from my SM-N960W using Tapatalk
  4. Troubleshot, and now get to return the car to the dealer because it failed it's safety... and has a CEL (code P1446)
  5. I'd prefer not to cut and paint a plate if I can avoid it. Plus I'm not a fan of the stock location of the hazard switch. This is my last resort if I can't source on locally since the ones I've found online aren't accepting my card. Thanks though
  6. Whoever installed the aftermarket radio in my car went ahead and got the JDM HVAC controls, But didn't use the top plate. Car is an 05LGT. Thanks in advance!
  7. Hate to revive an old thread, but, does anyone have all the TSBs? The hosted links no longer work. Thanks in advance
  8. Not so much as "what did you haul in your wagon today" as, I hauled my wagon home since I picked her up from the dealer! Got a CEL and cruise light on the way home though, But, gonna do diagnostics tomorrow as I need to call the dealership I got the car from. Otherwise, she's healthy!
  9. And that's why I intend on monitoring things so that doesn't happen.... That being said, stuff happens, and if she dies, she dies. That just gives me the excuse to throw money at the car. Hopefully none of the above happens soon though. And the whole thing on the turbo blowing up, yeah, I get that being a misnomer. Metal on metal anywhere in an engine isn't ideal. Hopefully I don't find glitter in a few thousand kilometers. Will be an interesting ownership for me since I'm not afraid to throw money at it
  10. Good to know. This car has 124k miles. Hopefully there is no glitter. If there isn't, I'll be very happy
  11. Okay... Having read this, and with a my car at 124k miles (200k kms). I bring it home from the dealership tomorrow and if she wants to self destruct, I hope it happens on the way home... Still don't regret buying her lol. Definitely gonna pull the turbo and see if there is any shaft play and go from there. (Thank you lemon law for hopefully getting this project started for me!)
  12. That part that you are referring to is the rocker panel. They can be mighty difficult to find. Unfortunately it seems nobody in the marketplace has any for the wagon, but you can call your local wreckers and see what they have
  13. Even though I will not be needing this as I can rely on Bluetooth for audio, Thank you for providing the community with such a brilliant solution to a problem that Subaru made! Hope your next endeavor is as wonderful as this last one!
  14. Nothing beats a Subaru! Especially one that's modified to be as fast as a V10 R8 it seems! She's looks good!! Also, give your dog (I hope it's yours lol) pets for me! All good dogs deserve pets!
  15. In talks for the new one because that way I'm not down for a while. And because the car is a slow burn, I'd have the two turbos to keep throwing in and rebuilding until the engine just quits. At that time I'm moving to a brand new long block and going to 350+ horses. In the meantime, the car is quite healthy
  16. Thanks! I'll probably go the rebuild route and have the car down for a few weeks then! Will be less expensive as the car is still on the stock turbo with124k miles (borrowed time... I'm shocked she's lived like this!)
  17. So, I've read the main post's in this thread, and am now curious (due to the issues with the vf-40) about what turbo I might be able to install on a stock tune if my current turbo dies. If I need to get a tune, then so be it, but I would prefer not to if possible (though if the turbo supports it, I will be down the road anyways, so that's a plus)
  18. The '05 and 06 lgts have catted ups. The only thing to keep in mind is that by changing to a non-catted uppipe is that you need to do a resistor mod. Search the forums for info on that
  19. Thanks. Still a little expensive, but better than 3-400 for the whole kit! Hopefully I can get the last one before it disappears
  20. Nice find! Hopefully I'll be able to afford one of these as jack stands are a pain to use!
  21. Instead of working on my LGT, I've learned that I already have the JDM dual climate, but need the top half of the 2din conversion. Also gotta pull the radio to see how the job was done. All this on Wednesday when I get the car. Previous owner didn't do the airbag recall, now I have to wait to pick up the car from the stealership (just bought the car too, not happy about the wait, but whatever). Hopefully the radio works with my phone and not be full of static like the am/FM receiver...
  22. As the title says, pictures are gone. Anyone have pictures of how the JDM conversion looks on USDM 05-09lgts? Having seen how different they are and that the dual zone controls are reversed, is there any way to correct that? EDIT: just realized that they control their respective side... Also, In need of the top half for the JDM conversion (the big square hole), and don't have the funds to buy a whole kit, plus i have the HVAC controls already as this conversion has apparently already been done on my car
  23. Dude. Build looks great so far! Hope she's running well, and I personally cannot wait to start basic things on my new (to me, and first car) '05 LGT wagon. Thanks for being an inspiration, and I hope to see your car around the Golden Horseshoe!
