legacybt
Awesome! From this angle, it looks like you might be dragging the exhaust tips though ... That's what the 450lb rear springs are for - hauling cargo Didn't even ride the bump stops!

Chris GTO TT
Perfect. I was just telling someone there's no need for a Tacoma when you can buy a legacy wagon/outback Sorta true, but the newer V6 Tacos let you safely tow a lot more than a Legacy could. Also I'd never throw a yard of mulch in the back of the wagon 2003 Baja 5MT 2016 Outback 2.5i Premium w/Eyesight

Turkeylord
Couldn't tell you really, MPG display is off because injectors, and I haven't been paying enough attention at fill-ups. 99% of my driving is in-town, so probably not too much. alex0856
I want to put a basket on mine but I can't decide on which one. I like the Yakima Loadwarrior, especially since I've already got a Yakima setup, but I feel like it's too tall for our cars. I want something fairly low/sleek that I can keep on my wagon 24/7 without it looking to obnoxious.
Matt166
Ive found my yak bars take away 1-2 mpg. Add the skybox 16 on there and its more like 4-5. Mpg's fluctuate massively with the wind when you have a roof setup, ive seen 18mpg highway with a headwind.
xt2005bonbon
Yep. That's why I am going to get rid of my king cobra yakima racks and get at some point a hitch type bike rack. But man they're not cheap
alex0856
What's odd is I've read that that's what everyone experiences, but in my torque-less Honda I received zero MPG loss with Yakima crossbars and the old fashioned Yakima basket. I also hardly get freeway MPGs since my commute is 90% stop-n-go, so my low average speeds are probably the primary contributor here.

But man they're not cheap Id like to go that route, but I worry a little about the clearance. Wont be such an issue for you no doubt with an outback. BoozeRS05
My Thule fairing and crossbars don't seem to have much effect around town. I won't see better than 25-26mpg on the highway tho. I might make a trip soon, and I'm prob gonna remove it for comparison.
