The more I see of BMW's new cars, the more I am convinced that they have lost their way.

Mercedes Benz on the other hand seems to be on a driver's car kick here lately and they are doing what they can to make their cars more fun to drive.

Jesus, BMW, as well as Audi, have taken niche marketing too far.......

I'm soon expecting BMW X2.5 X3/4 etc etc

... and you are so right about them loosing their way design-wise!

Oh how i miss the days of E46 3-series coupes and E39 5-series....

Looks more along the lines of a Honda Crosstour to me ..

All the manufacturers are rushing into the small SUV/hatchback thing, yet they don't seem to be selling well.

The Crosstour/ZDX both had fairly terrible sales, the XV seems to be doing alright. Is everyone jumping into a non-existent market?

Just layering in vehicle sizes to cover every possible market, no matter how many customers are actually interested.

So now BMW has the X1 (Outback-like raised 3 series) the X3, X4, X6 sloped SUV and now a baby-sized X4 sloped SUV.

The only size missing for North America is a monster sized 8-passenger BMX X9, which I'm sure has been tossed around in the marketing boardroom.
